According to PC Gamer, Duncan Fyfe said he and Chris Remo were the lead writers on Star Wars: Galactic Racer. The report, published October 6, 2026, connects that credit to Fyfe’s public Bluesky post; it is a reported attribution, not an independently confirmed statement from the developer.
Who is writing Star Wars: Galactic Racer?
PC Gamer reported that Duncan Fyfe identified himself and Chris Remo as the game’s lead writers. In the post reproduced by the outlet, Fyfe wrote: “Really pleased to finally say that Chris Remo and I were the lead writers on Star Wars: Galactic Racer. The team at Fuse are the absolute best in their field, and it really shows. It was a great project to work on and is an even better game to play. Sebulba forever” (PC Gamer, October 6, 2026).
That is the basis for the answer to “who’s writing Sebulba?”: Fyfe and Remo are the two people named as lead writers in the report. The wording does not establish that they alone wrote every line in the game.
Why does the headline mention Sebulba?
Sebulba is the recognizable podracing character used as a playful shorthand for the game in PC Gamer’s headline. The article’s opening reframes the question as “Wait, who’s putting words in Sebulba’s mouth?” The subject is the writing credit for Star Wars: Galactic Racer, not a separate Sebulba project.

How does that credit fit the game’s development?
Fuse Games describes Star Wars: Galactic Racer as its debut game, made in close collaboration with Lucasfilm Games and published by Secret Mode (Fuse Games’ announcement). Those are distinct roles: Fyfe and Remo are named as lead writers in PC Gamer’s report, while Fuse Games is the developer, Lucasfilm Games the collaborating partner, and Secret Mode the publisher.
StarWars.com places the game in the Jakku Graveyard of Giants and describes a trailer and Sebulba teaser discussed by Lucasfilm Games VP and GM Douglas Reilly and Fuse Games co-founder Matt Webster (StarWars.com interview, April 30, 2026). That official interview provides setting and development context, but it does not itself confirm the writing credit.
