Short answer: None of the reviewed official service pages confirms both automatic recurring YouTube livestreams and an explicit India Standard Time (IST, Asia/Kolkata) setting. Restream is a documented option for automatically starting prerecorded YouTube streams at a scheduled time, and it lets you reuse stream setups—but that is not proof of automatic weekly recurrence or IST support. StreamYard also documents scheduled events and automatically starting prerecorded streams, with the same gaps on recurrence and IST. Confirm both details with a provider before depending on a fixed India-time series.
First decide what “recurring videos” means
There are two different YouTube workflows that can fit this phrase:
- Scheduled video publishing: an uploaded video becomes public at a chosen date and time. It is an ordinary YouTube video, not a livestream.
- Scheduled livestream: a live event is announced or created for a future time. It may require a person to start the stream.
- Prerecorded video streamed as live: a recording or playlist is broadcast as a livestream, potentially starting automatically at the scheduled time.
Also distinguish a repeatable setup from a recurring schedule. Reusing saved event details still requires someone to schedule the next event; an automatic recurrence rule creates future events without that manual step.
If you mean ordinary scheduled uploads
YouTube Studio supports scheduling an uploaded video to become public by selecting a date, time, and timezone. YouTube’s instructions describe scheduled publishing, not a rule that creates recurring livestreams. See YouTube Help: Schedule video publish time.

Pay attention to the date shown on the watch page: YouTube says its publication date is based on Pacific Standard Time, so it can differ from the calendar date seen by a creator scheduling from a timezone ahead of PST. This matters when planning a release around midnight in India.
Options for prerecorded YouTube livestreams

2. Restream
Restream documents prerecorded videos or playlists scheduled as YouTube livestreams that begin automatically at the scheduled time, including while the creator is offline. Its event workflow also allows a YouTube event to be created with a date and time, and an existing stream setup can be reused for another event. However, Restream says an event can be used to go live only once; its reusable-draft workflow supports preparing another event, not unattended automatic recurrence. The reviewed instructions show date and time fields but do not explicitly confirm an IST or Asia/Kolkata selector.

3. StreamYard
StreamYard documents both scheduled YouTube live events and a separate prerecorded-streaming workflow that starts automatically at the selected time. Its ordinary scheduled live-show workflow is different: scheduling the announcement does not start the show, and the creator must enter the studio and click Go Live. The help page says prerecorded streams can be scheduled up to 365 days in advance, but the reviewed instructions do not establish automatic recurrence or an explicit IST selector.

How to choose for a weekly India-time series
- Choose the right format. If you only need a video to become public, use YouTube Studio scheduling. If viewers should see a live event or a recording aired as live, use a livestream workflow.
- Ask whether it truly repeats. Get confirmation that the service creates the next event automatically at your chosen cadence, rather than merely letting you reuse a draft or stream setup.
- Verify the time zone behavior. Ask whether you can choose Asia/Kolkata/IST explicitly, or whether the displayed time follows your account, browser, or another setting. The reviewed provider instructions do not settle this for Restream or StreamYard.
- Check what happens at airtime. For an ordinary live show, confirm who must enter the studio and click Go Live. For prerecorded streaming, confirm whether the recording starts unattended and whether the scheduled time refers to the beginning of playback.
- Test one event before announcing a series. Schedule a single event, check its displayed time from the intended account, and confirm the public event link and start behavior before promising viewers a recurring schedule.

No. The cited limit is how far ahead its prerecorded streams may be scheduled; it does not establish an automatic recurrence rule.
