The TECNO CAMON 50 Ultra 5G has the more versatile listed rear-camera setup, including a dedicated 50MP 3x telephoto camera. The TECNO POVA 8 Pro 5G is a stronger fit if you want a fully specified 6.78-inch, 144Hz AMOLED display and gaming-focused features. Both are listed with 6500mAh batteries and 45W charging, although TECNO says CAMON battery capacity varies by region. Which phone has the better camera setup?
The CAMON 50 Ultra has more rear-camera flexibility on paper. TECNO lists a 50MP main camera, a separate 50MP 3x telephoto camera, and an 8MP ultra-wide. The POVA 8 Pro page lists a 50MP OIS main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide, but no dedicated telephoto camera.

How do the displays differ?
TECNO specifies the POVA 8 Pro’s display more fully: it is a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel with 2644 × 1208 resolution and refresh options up to 144Hz. TECNO describes the CAMON 50 Ultra display as 1.5K and 144Hz, but the reviewed product page does not give equivalent numeric panel details.
Both are advertised with a 144Hz maximum refresh rate. That figure describes the panel’s supported refresh rate; it does not mean every app or game runs at 144 frames per second.

Battery, charging, and gaming features
TECNO lists both phones with 6500mAh batteries and 45W charging. The CAMON product page warns that its battery capacity varies by region, so check the exact local variant before buying. Matching listed capacity and charging wattage do not establish matching battery life or charging time in everyday use.

The POVA 8 Pro specification page lists HiOS 16 based on Android 16 and the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultimate 5G processor. TECNO also promotes gaming features for the POVA. Its mention of 144FPS PUBG MOBILE support is conditional on a future major game update and actual rollout, so do not treat that frame rate as guaranteed on the current software build.

What is the price difference?
A dependable price gap cannot be stated without a country, currency, storage tier, seller, and date. The reviewed official TECNO pages do not publish current retail prices, and a price from one market or an earlier launch period would not establish today’s difference elsewhere.
For a fair comparison, check listings available where you live on the same day and match storage capacity. Confirm the precise model variant, physical RAM, warranty, network-band compatibility, stock, and any sale or bundle conditions. Do not count extended RAM as physical RAM when comparing configurations.

Choose the CAMON 50 Ultra if camera flexibility matters
Its listed dedicated 3x telephoto camera is the clearest reason to favor the CAMON. It also has a listed 1.5K, 144Hz display, but TECNO provides less numeric display detail on the reviewed page. Verify the battery capacity for your region before purchasing.
Choose the POVA 8 Pro if display detail and gaming features matter
The POVA’s 6.78-inch AMOLED display has a more complete published specification, and its product information emphasizes gaming. It also has listed 6500mAh capacity and 45W charging, as does the CAMON, while its storage options are listed as 256GB and 512GB.

Let local price and variant decide when priorities are close
Neither official page establishes which model costs less. Compare the exact local configurations and seller terms rather than assuming one phone is cheaper globally. A processor name alone also cannot show whether the phones deliver equal sustained performance; no matched performance test is established by the specifications cited here.
