The original Nintendo Switch Pro Controller is the straightforward official choice for a full-size layout. The Switch 2 Pro Controller is not an upgrade path for an older console: Nintendo says it is only for Switch 2. For Switch 2

For Switch 2-specific controls: Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller
This model adds features beyond the standard layout, including a C Button for GameChat and mappable GL/GR buttons. Its 3.5 mm jack, motion controls, built-in amiibo functionality, Capture Button, and HD rumble 2 may also matter depending on how you play.
