Good Lock compatibility with One UI 9 has changed since Samsung’s beta announcement. Rather than relying on that early list—or assuming every module must be updated before installing One UI 9—check Good Lock and Galaxy Store on the Galaxy device you use. Samsung’s guidance says modules can be downloaded or updated in Good Lock, and availability can vary by phone model and software version.
How to check for Good Lock module updates
- Open Galaxy Store and search for Good Lock. Install it if it is not already on your phone.
- Open Good Lock and check its available apps for modules to download or update.
- To review an app’s changes, open that app’s update history inside Good Lock.
These are Samsung’s general update instructions; they do not establish that every module needs an update before installing One UI 9. Samsung also notes that feature availability can differ by software version and phone model. Samsung’s Good Lock support guide explains the app and update process.
What Samsung’s initial One UI 9 beta list said
In a July 24, 2026 community announcement, Samsung’s Good Lock development team identified 16 modules as supported during the One UI 9 beta and eight as still in development. Samsung explicitly cautioned that the lists could change during the beta, so they describe that announcement—not a permanent compatibility guarantee or a current, complete chart.

How the beta status changed
A later report illustrates why the initial list should not be treated as current. On July 3, 2026, SamMobile reported that NavStar version 9.0.00.11 added One UI 9 support, and that Game Booster+, Home Up, and NotiStar were then the remaining unsupported plugins. This is a dated secondary report, not verification of the current listing on every device. Read SamMobile’s NavStar report.
The available sources do not provide a complete, up-to-date compatibility matrix by Galaxy model, region, and software version. Check the module listings on your own phone rather than assuming that a beta-era status or a report about another device applies to you.

One UI 9 rollout context
