Then test it in your current game client. These are practical setup recommendations from community guides—not settings proven to reduce errors by a measured amount.
Set up the macro and its activation key separately
Community guidance describes two distinct tasks: building the sequence through the skill interface, then assigning the macro action in key settings. Completing only the first task may leave you with a sequence that has no convenient way to run it.
- Create the sequence: Open the skill interface in your current client and configure the actions you want in the macro. Check the available controls and per-step delay options; exact labels and behavior may differ by region or update. Community macro guide
- Bind its activation: Open key settings and assign the macro action to a key or mouse button. Confirm that the binding is actually assigned before testing. Community settings guide
Choose a binding you can reach consistently
Use a key or mouse button that feels comfortable and is easy to press without disrupting your other controls. A settings guide recommends a comfortable binding, but the available evidence does not rank particular keys, keyboard layouts, or mouse models. Treat this as an ergonomic choice rather than a performance upgrade.
Keep the sequence short and set delays deliberately
A compact sequence with one clear purpose is easier to inspect and test than a long chain of actions. The community guide describes delays for individual steps; review each one in the client and make sure the sequence behaves as intended. The available sources do not establish an optimal delay value, so do not assume that one number works for every action, setup, or client version.

Test before relying on it
Try the sequence in the live client and observe whether it activates from the assigned control and proceeds as expected. If it does not, check the two setup points separately: whether the sequence was created in the skill interface and whether its action has a key binding. Then review the per-step delays and test again. Community guidance supports testing, but no controlled measurements establish how much any configuration reduces input errors or improves damage.
Do not assume external automation is permitted
NCSoft’s January 28, 2026 announcement described measures against botting and unauthorized automation, including steps aimed at limiting automated gathering macros. It said: “New safeguards implemented to ensure a fair gameplay environment, including selective overseas VPN blocking and hardware-based restrictions.” This is policy context, not a complete rulebook for every peripheral, remapping utility, or external macro tool. Do not infer that an external automation setup is allowed or safe from guidance about the game’s built-in macro. Check current official rules for your region before using such tools. What is—and is not—established
AION 2’s official site describes support for PC, mobile, and game-controller play, but the official material reviewed does not specify an authoritative macro delay or a universally reliable configuration. Menu labels and macro behavior may change by region or update, so confirm them in your installed client. No published input-error rate, reliability gain, or optimal delay is established by the cited sources. Official AION 2 site
