No agency can guarantee that an AI assistant will mention or recommend your SaaS brand. The right shortlist depends on whether you need more third-party mentions, tracked citations, stronger SaaS SEO foundations, or reporting that connects visibility with pipeline. These seven providers represent different approaches—not a proven ranking—and their stated results are not independent audits.

What an AI SEO agency should do for a SaaS company

“AI SEO” overlaps with generative engine optimization (GEO), answer engine optimization (AEO), and LLM visibility. The work described under those labels can include technical SEO, SaaS-focused content, clearer brand and product entities, structured data, digital PR and third-party mentions, citation or prompt tracking, and reporting on leads or pipeline.

These activities do not replace conventional SEO. SaaSAgency.org says Google’s SEO best practices continue to apply to its AI Search features, so ask an agency to explain both its core search work and what it adds for AI answers. A useful buyer question is: “Can you help our brand become a trusted source across Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, comparison pages, review ecosystems, and answer-style content?” Treat that as a statement of goals, not a promise that an agency can control those platforms or placements. Seven agencies to consider for LLM brand mentions

The agencies below are organized by the fit described in available comparisons and provider pages, not ranked from best to worst. Confirm current scope, team, and experience directly before hiring.

Omniscient Digital: authority-led organic growth for established B2B SaaS

MSB Digital describes Omniscient Digital’s “Surround Sound” approach as building brand mentions on pages that already rank for high-intent searches. That may suit an established B2B SaaS company seeking broader organic authority and presence on relevant third-party pages. MSB lists Adobe and Asana among its clients. Its explanation that LLMs reference these pages is the publisher’s rationale, not proof that the tactic causes AI mentions. Ask for examples in your category and how it measures the impact of those placements. MSB Digital’s agency comparison

DerivateX: specialist GEO with pipeline attribution

MSB describes DerivateX as tracking citations weekly across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, and Gemini, and reports client outcomes attributed to the agency. It may be worth evaluating if your B2B SaaS team wants a specialist program that attempts to connect AI visibility with pipeline. Ask how prompts are selected, what counts as a citation, how attribution works, and whether you can speak with comparable clients. The reported outcomes are not independent audits. Skale: SaaS SEO with a separate citation-outreach workstream

MSB characterizes Skale’s clients as SaaS companies in areas such as cybersecurity, HR technology, and martech, and describes GEO and AI Citation Outreach as separately scoped services. This distinction can help a buyer determine whether outreach is included in a broader SEO engagement or priced and delivered as its own workstream. Confirm that the services are currently available and request examples relevant to your vertical. MSB Digital’s agency comparison

First Page Sage: research-led thought leadership for technical categories

MSB describes First Page Sage’s approach as research-led content and reports an enterprise SaaS client roster. That positioning may fit companies with technical products or long buying cycles that need credible educational content. Ask how the agency defines AI visibility, how content is supported by expertise and evidence, and how it attributes any resulting change to qualified traffic or pipeline. SimpleTiger: SaaS-focused SEO and AI-search work

SimpleTiger’s own service page describes technical optimization, SEO research, AI content optimization, and ongoing KPI tracking across traditional and AI-powered search. Consider it if you want a SaaS-oriented program spanning foundational search work and AI-search tracking. Because this is the provider’s description of its own services, ask for a proposed scope, example deliverables, and measurement definitions before treating the listed capabilities as a fit for your needs. MADX: SaaS GEO with published client case claims

MADX’s case-study page reports that Nosto moved from 0% to third among ten brands in AI-search share of voice. It also reports that Postalytics held a 90% share of voice across stated platforms and prompts in August 2026. These are MADX-published claims, not independently audited results. Before using them to evaluate the agency, request the prompt set, time period, platform coverage, definition of share of voice, and underlying evidence. MADX

Growthner: integrated GEO, mentions, content, and reporting

Growthner’s own page describes visibility audits, entity optimization, content, brand-mention outreach, and reporting connected to trials, demos, and revenue. That combination may appeal to a SaaS team seeking one provider for on-site and off-site work plus commercial reporting. Its visible figures and performance claims are self-reported; ask how each metric is defined and what evidence supports it. Growthner

How to compare agencies for your company

Use the same questions with every candidate. A strong presentation is not enough: the proposed work, evidence, measurement, and commercial terms should match your actual growth problem.

  • Define the outcome. Decide whether you want more brand mentions, citations in AI answers, qualified AI-referred visits, or pipeline you can attribute. These are different goals and require different measures.
  • Map the scope. Ask whether the engagement covers technical SEO, content, entity clarity, structured data, off-site mentions or PR, and measurement—or only some of them. Separate included work from optional add-ons.
  • Inspect the evidence. Request named, dated examples and ask whether outcomes come from a reproducible prompt set and a clearly defined metric. Distinguish an agency’s own case claims from independently verified results.
  • Check company fit. Look for experience with SaaS businesses at a similar stage, in a similar category and geography, and with a comparable sales-cycle length.
  • Make measurement reproducible. Ask which AI surfaces and prompts are tracked, how often they are checked, how the prompt set changes, and how visibility is connected to site visits, trials, demos, or revenue.
  • Clarify delivery and economics. Identify who does the work, what your team must supply, what is included, and the contract, pricing, and exit terms. Available sources do not establish comparable, verified prices for all seven agencies.

Questions to ask before signing

  1. “What would you do in the first phase, and what would you leave out?” The answer should tie activities to your stated visibility problem rather than treat every GEO tactic as mandatory.
  2. “Show us a before-and-after example with the prompts, dates, and definitions.” This reveals whether a claimed change can be checked and compared over time.
  3. “How do you distinguish an AI mention from a citation, recommendation, or referral?” Agencies should define their metrics rather than use visibility terms interchangeably.
  4. “How will you show that visibility contributed to business outcomes?” Ask for the attribution method and its limitations; a change in mentions alone does not establish incremental revenue.
  5. “Which work depends on our team?” Clarify subject-matter access, approvals, technical implementation, and any required data or tools.
  6. “Can we speak to a client with a similar product and sales cycle?” A relevant reference is more useful than a broad client logo list.

How to read agency case studies and visibility claims

Some claims cited in agency comparisons illustrate why methodology matters. MSB Digital reports that 20% of Gumlet’s monthly inbound revenue was attributed to ChatGPT and Perplexity referrals, and that REsimpli became the number-one ChatGPT recommendation for “best CRM for real estate investors” within 90 days. These are claims reported by MSB Digital in 2026, not independent audits. MSB Digital’s agency comparison

For any case study, ask for the exact prompts, dates, platforms, comparison set, and metric definition. For traffic or revenue claims, ask how referrals were identified and what attribution window was used. A result tied to a particular prompt set, platform, or month should not be read as a general guarantee of visibility.

Alternatives worth evaluating

A second comparison list names Omnius, Spicy Margarita, and Mint Position as other agencies to consider. Use them only if their stated services match your requirements, and verify current scope and evidence directly; the comparison’s introduction uses mixed year wording and does not establish a definitive ranking.
