In the Venmo app, open Me > Transactions to find requests. Unfulfilled split requests appear at the top of the personal transactions feed; use Pending to check a split request’s status. For a request you scheduled, go to Me > Transactions > Scheduled > View all.
Find an ordinary or split request in the app
- Open Venmo and tap the Me tab.
- Tap Transactions.
- Review the personal transactions feed. Venmo says unfulfilled split requests appear at the top of this feed. Venmo’s split-purchase instructions describe where to find them.
Check whether a split request is pending
In Me > Transactions, look under Pending. From there, Venmo says you can delete a request or remind the other person; sending a reminder notifies them again. The recipient must complete the request before the money is sent to the requester’s account.

Find a scheduled request
Open Me > Transactions > Scheduled > View all. Select a scheduled payment or request to review its details or make changes. See Venmo’s instructions for scheduled payments.

Use notifications as alerts, not as request history
To adjust alerts, open Me > Settings > Notifications. Notification preferences can help explain why you did not receive an expected alert, but Venmo’s documented place to inspect request status is the transactions feed. Some email notifications cannot be turned off, including notices for payments sent and monthly or quarterly statements. Details are in Venmo’s notification settings guide.

If a request is missing or looks suspicious
- Check Me > Transactions and, depending on the request, review Pending or Scheduled > View all.
- If you expected an alert, check your notification settings. Venmo does not promise that every request produces the same notification.
- If a request came only by email and does not appear in the app or on Venmo’s website, treat the message cautiously; Venmo says it may be fraudulent.
- For an unexpected request, Venmo advises declining it. If it seems to come from someone you know, verify with them through another contact method before acting. See Venmo’s guidance on payments from strangers.
Can you see existing requests on Venmo’s website?
Venmo documents how to start a request on the web: sign in and select Pay or Request in the sidebar. Its web instructions for sending and requesting money do not specify a separate web inbox or a path for viewing request history. For checking an existing request, use the documented app locations above.
