Start with your PC case maker’s official parts store or spare-parts list, searching by the case’s exact model and variant. If you cannot find the panel, contact the manufacturer’s support team before buying elsewhere. A side panel that looks similar may not match your case’s side, tint, frame, hinge, or mounting points.
Identify the case and the panel you need
Before searching, note the manufacturer, full case model name or number, revision if listed, and color. A model family alone may not identify the correct part. Then determine whether you need the left or right side panel, whether it is tinted, and whether the glass is sold as a complete panel or as an insert attached to a frame, hinge, handle, or trim.
These details help distinguish parts for similar-looking cases. They also give support staff enough information to check compatibility and availability for your region.

Where to look for a replacement
Check the case maker’s parts store first
Search the official store or spare-parts catalog using the exact case model and variant. For example, Corsair’s spare-parts list identifies replacement glass by case and part number, including black and white 3200D panels and a 9000D/1000D glass-panel entry. Corsair also says replacement panels for its 4000, 5000, and 7000 series and select legacy models may be available through its online store. If the panel for your specific model is not listed, contact Corsair support.

Listings can be highly specific: Corsair’s 2800X guide identifies left replacement tempered-glass panels for black and white versions. Confirm the exact listing and compatibility notes rather than assuming a part fits every case in a series.
Ask the manufacturer when the part is unlisted
Use the manufacturer’s support route if the official store does not show your panel, especially for a discontinued model. Provide the full case model, revision if known, panel side, color, and country or region. Support may be able to identify a part number or clarify whether the panel is available, but stock and shipping vary; an unlisted panel is not necessarily available for purchase.

Use marketplace listings only after checking fit
A marketplace search can turn up a compatible part, but search results are not proof of compatibility. Add the exact case model to a phrase such as “replacement tempered glass side panel,” then compare the seller’s compatibility statement with the case maker’s information. Check the panel side, color or tint, dimensions where provided, and mounting arrangement. Verify the seller’s return terms before ordering. No particular marketplace listing is confirmed for an unspecified case.
Check compatibility before placing an order
- Case identity: Match the full model and any relevant revision or color variant.
- Panel position: Confirm left versus right, and side versus front glass.
- Construction: Check whether the replacement is a complete panel or only an insert, and whether it includes or reuses a frame, hinge, handle, or trim.
- Material and finish: Confirm tempered glass or a manufacturer-documented alternative, along with tint or color.
- Mounting: Compare the maker’s compatibility notes and the panel’s mounting points; do not assume a panel from another model or series will fit.
- Purchase terms: Check current stock, shipping to your region, total cost, seller, and return policy before paying.
When a standard replacement is unavailable
Ask the manufacturer whether it can supply the part or recommend a model-specific repair route. If the maker no longer supplies the panel, a custom acrylic panel may be a fallback only when its dimensions, mounting, clearances, and material suitability are confirmed for your case. SSUPD’s guidance for the Xhuttle describes that model’s replaceable glass panel as 3 mm and discusses a custom acrylic alternative; those details apply to the Xhuttle and should not be generalized to other cases.

If the exact panel cannot be sourced or a suitable alternative cannot be verified, compare the effort and total cost of replacing the case. The available information does not establish a general price comparison, so check current part, shipping, and replacement-case costs for your situation.

Tempered glass can break if mishandled, but removal and installation details differ by case. Follow the maker’s instructions for the exact model rather than treating another case’s steps as universal.

- ASUS’s ROG Hyperion GR701 instructions describe replacing the glass while reusing that model’s hinge and grip, and advise careful handling during disassembly and assembly. This is repair guidance, not confirmation that ASUS sells a replacement panel.
- ASUS’s TUF Gaming GT501 instructions cover glass removal and installation and recommend gloves, a stable surface, and care with the glass; they do not establish that a replacement SKU is available.
- The Corsair 2800X guide advises removing the tempered-glass panel before positioning the case on a hard surface, keeping the panel on a soft, safe surface while working, and leaving its anti-shatter film in place.
