For the documented keyboard route, see Chrome’s Sensors: Emulate device sensors guide.

Open Sensors from the DevTools menu

If you prefer a visible menu, open the DevTools main menu and choose More tools > Sensors. This opens the same panel as the Command Menu route. The official Device Mode documentation describes this menu path.

What the Sensors panel controls

Sensors lets you emulate device sensor input while developing or testing a site. Its documented controls include geolocation, device orientation, touch, and idle-state emulation. It is separate from Device Mode’s viewport and network or CPU controls.

Set or test a location

In Sensors > Location, select a preset, enter a custom location, or choose Location unavailable to test how a page responds when location cannot be obtained.

Simulate orientation and other conditions

Use the orientation controls to select a preset or configure a custom orientation. The panel also offers controls for forcing touch and emulating idle state. See the Chrome Sensors guide for the documented options.

Restore a missing custom location preset

If the panel opens but your saved location is missing, manage presets in DevTools Settings > Locations. You can add a preset with a name, latitude, longitude, timezone ID, and locale, then save it and select it under Sensors > Location. Existing presets can also be edited or removed there. See Chrome’s Locations documentation.

Does a Chrome update remove Sensors?

The official Chrome documentation describes Sensors as a DevTools panel and provides the navigation routes above. It does not establish that a particular Chrome update removed or relocated the feature, nor does it identify why the panel might be absent in an individual setup. Start by reopening it through the Command Menu or the More tools menu rather than assuming a release-specific change.
