Sphere does not prescribe a concert outfit or a type of shoe in its reviewed venue guidance. Wear what suits the event and feels comfortable, but plan carefully for the strict bag limit: small clutches, purses, and fanny packs must be no larger than approximately 6 × 6 × 2 inches and are subject to screening. Check your event’s details shortly before you go, since policies can change or vary by event.
Does Sphere have a concert dress code?
Sphere’s reviewed official guidance does not set a general dress code or require a particular style of clothing. The specific clothing restriction is against offensive clothing, including garments or signs displaying explicit or inciting language, profanity, or derogatory characterization toward any person.
That restriction does not mean guests must wear a particular kind of outfit. Choose clothing appropriate for your show and comfortable for the visit.

Sphere does not prescribe footwear. Comfortable walking shoes are a practical choice because guests approach the venue on foot; the venue’s arrival information also encourages arriving early. Treat this as comfort advice, not an official requirement or a claim that a particular shoe has been tested or endorsed.

What bags can you bring into Sphere?
Sphere’s current venue FAQ, accessed in 2026, says small clutches, purses, and fanny packs may be brought if they are no larger than approximately 6 × 6 × 2 inches. All bags may be screened or inspected. Large bags and backpacks are not permitted under the venue’s no-bag policy.
Measure the bag itself rather than relying on a product label or description. If you are considering a compact concert bag or small fanny pack, confirm its actual dimensions and make sure it holds only the essentials you need.

Can you check a coat or bag at Sphere?
Sphere says it does not provide an area to check bags, coats, or other personal belongings. Bring only what you can keep with you and take into the venue. Do not arrive expecting to leave a noncompliant bag or coat at a venue check.
What else should you know before packing?
Sphere prohibits outside food and beverages. Its FAQ separately states that clear, soft plastic, empty bottles are permitted; this is a packing rule, not an outfit requirement. Because prohibited items and venue protocols may vary by event or change, review the official policy and the details for your specific show shortly before departure: Sphere FAQ and current shows.
