How to make a Lazy Susan arrangement feel intentional
- Choose one anchor. Begin with a low bowl, vessel, or other object that fits the surface’s purpose.
- Add only a few companions. Select a small number of pieces that complement the anchor in shape or material. Homes & Gardens suggests three distinct pieces as one styling approach, not a rule for every tray (Homes & Gardens).
- Consider height and rotation. Low objects are generally easier to live with on a rotating dining-table display. If you plan to turn the tray, check that the objects stay in place during ordinary rotation; styling guidance does not establish a stability guarantee.
- Respect the surface’s job. Preserve access to dishes and serving space at meals, room for cups on a coffee table, and open work area on a kitchen counter.
