As of October 4, 2026, the House of the Dragon Quest Event is not expected to appear yet: Zynga schedules it for October 15 at 4 a.m. ET through October 19 at 2 a.m. ET. If it is still missing or will not open during that window, check your connection, restart and update your device and game, then force-close and reopen the app. Avoid reinstalling until you have confirmed your progress is backed up.
Check whether the event is actually scheduled to be live
Zynga’s October 2026 calendar, posted September 29, lists the House of the Dragon Quest Event from October 15 at 4 a.m. ET until October 19 at 2 a.m. ET. On October 4, its absence is consistent with the schedule, not evidence of a loading problem. Check Zynga’s October 2026 calendar.
The calendar lists a separate House of the Dragon Summon, running October 15 at 1 a.m. ET through October 19 at 2 p.m. ET. It names Rhaenyra Targaryen, Viserys I Targaryen, Caraxes, and Olenna Tyrell. If you are looking for one of those characters, check the summon listing rather than assuming it is part of the Quest Event.

Troubleshoot an event that is missing during its window or will not load
If the published start time has passed and the event still does not appear, or selecting it leaves the game stuck, work through these steps in order. Zynga’s general guidance for missing features and loading trouble recommends connectivity checks, restarting, updating, and reopening the app. Missing-feature guidance and loading guidance.
- Confirm the date and notice. Compare the event you mean with the official calendar or an in-game notice. The Quest Event and Summon have different start and end times.
- Check your internet connection. Make sure the device is online over Wi-Fi or cellular data. On Wi-Fi, check that the router is on and that the signal is strong enough.
- Restart the device. Close the game and restart your phone or tablet before reopening it.
- Update Game of Thrones: Legends. Install any available update from your device’s app store, then try the event again.
- Force-close and reopen the app. Use the force-close method for your device—steps vary between Android and iOS—and close unnecessary background apps if the game remains unresponsive.
- Update the operating system. Check your device settings for an available system update. The menu path varies by device and software version.
- Reinstall only after verifying your backup. Zynga warns that reinstalling may reset progress, which may not be recoverable if the account was not backed up. Confirm that an available in-game sign-in method has saved your account and that you can access it before removing the app.
When to contact Zynga support
If the event is still missing or will not load during the advertised window after those steps, contact Zynga through the Game of Thrones: Legends Help Center. Include a concise description of what happens and when it happens. If support requests identifying details, Zynga’s instructions say the Player ID and PIN are available in Player Profile → Settings → Personal Data Request. Find your Player ID and PIN.

What is known about loading problems
Zynga’s release 1.0.605 patch notes, dated September 7, 2026, say the update “Fixed technical glitches that were preventing the game from loading.” That establishes that a game update has addressed loading glitches before; it does not establish that the October House of the Dragon event has a known unresolved bug. Check official notices and install the latest game update before treating the problem as specific to this event. Read the 1.0.605 patch notes.

The October calendar does not state account, region, or progression requirements for seeing the event. If yours remains absent during the listed period, Zynga support is the right place to confirm account-specific access rather than guessing at eligibility or an outage.
