While pursuing a product design role or a strong contract opportunity, Mustofa Al-Ameen Mustafa says he has been working on two products: Flowwbook, a booking and operations platform for service businesses, and an AI-powered exam-preparation app for students. His account describes design work across two different user journeys; it does not provide independent evidence of customer usage or product outcomes.
Two products, two different user problems
Mustafa’s project update describes one product for businesses that manage appointments and another for students preparing for exams. In both, his focus is product experience design: shaping how people move through the product and what they need at each step.
| Project | Intended audience | Problem addressed | Status reported by Mustafa |
|---|---|---|---|
| Flowwbook | Appointment-based businesses and their staff and customers | Bringing bookings and related customer operations into one system | In production while frontend implementation was still being completed |
| AI exam-preparation app | Students preparing for JAMB, WAEC, and NECO; the MVP focuses on JAMB | Organizing exam preparation, practice, and progress | About 80% complete, by Mustafa’s estimate |
These statuses and descriptions come from Mustafa’s account and professional profiles. They should be read as his reports, not as independently verified availability, completion, or performance figures.
Flowwbook: coordinating appointments and service operations
Who it is for
Mustafa describes Flowwbook as a SaaS platform for appointment-based businesses, including salons, spas, barbers, clinics, and other service providers. The intended users extend beyond the business owner: staff need to manage their work, while customers need a straightforward way to book and receive service.

What the product is meant to bring together
The feature set he lists includes booking, payments, reminders, and virtual queues. Taken together, those functions aim to support the path from making an appointment through waiting for and receiving a service. Mustafa says his design work considered flows for owners, staff, and customers rather than treating the product as a single business-owner dashboard.
What “in production” means here
Mustafa reported that Flowwbook was in production while frontend implementation was still underway. His LinkedIn profile separately described the website and booking system as officially in production and mentioned its virtual queue feature. Those are author-reported status claims; the available account does not establish that customers can currently access the service or show adoption, reliability, or business results.

The exam-preparation app: turning study goals into practice
Audience and initial scope
The second project is an AI-powered mobile app for students preparing for JAMB, WAEC, and NECO. Mustafa says the MVP is focused on JAMB, giving the initial version a narrower exam scope than the longer-term audience description.
Features in the planned study journey
The features he describes span setup, learning, practice, and progress:

Rank #3
- Set a plan: choose subjects, set target scores, and enter exam dates.
- Study and practice: use study resources, micro-quizzes, and mock examinations.
- Track and adjust: review results and receive recommendations.
- Study with others: join study groups and use leaderboards.
That scope suggests an app intended to help students move from setting a goal to practicing and monitoring progress. The project description does not specify how the AI works, how recommendations are generated, or whether the listed features are already implemented.
Completion estimate
Mustafa described the app as about 80% complete. That is his estimate, not a measured release-readiness score; no independent product listing or usage evidence was identified to verify the figure.

What the projects show about his design focus
The projects address different contexts, but both require decisions about a sequence of user actions. For Flowwbook, that means considering how an owner, staff member, and customer each reach the outcome they need. For the exam app, it means connecting a student’s goals and schedule to study materials, practice, and feedback.
A user-flow map is one way to make those decisions visible: it lays out a user’s steps, choices, and endpoint in a product. Figma’s guide to user flows explains this approach. The account identifies Figma among the tools Mustafa works with, but does not establish which specific tools or methods he used on either project.
Best Value
The project descriptions communicate intended users, planned capabilities, and reported maturity. They do not include user research findings, design artifacts, adoption figures, or measured outcomes, so they cannot establish how well either product performs in use.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. The opportunity he is looking for
Mustafa says he has more than three years of experience designing websites and mobile applications across industries, primarily through freelance and contract work. He is seeking a full-time Product Design role or a strong contract opportunity with a product team, where he can contribute to products used by real people and grow through shipping work. He also expresses interest in international teams and roles that could eventually create a relocation opportunity. These are his stated experience and goals, not independently verified employment or hiring details.
His project update is therefore both a description of work in progress and a statement about the kind of next role he wants: product design within a team building and shipping digital products. It does not offer hiring research or evidence about what companies generally prioritize.
