RBC Vantage Snapshot is a feature in the RBC Mobile app that gives eligible customers a personalized summary of certain cost savings and available Avion points, plus tips for finding more benefits. RBC launched it in 2022; it is not a separate account or a newly launched app.
What Vantage Snapshot shows
The Snapshot can display selected savings tied to eligible RBC products, including monthly account-fee savings, annual credit-card-fee rebates, Petro-Canada fuel savings and RBC welcome offers. It can also show your available Avion points balance with a breakdown by product. The information is personalized, so the categories and totals can differ from one customer to another.

RBC’s Cost Savings view covers the calendar year, January 1 through December 31. Some amounts update on different schedules. USD accounts and Leo’s Young Savers accounts are excluded from Cost Savings details. See RBC’s Vantage Snapshot page for its current feature details.

Who can use it and where to find it
RBC says access requires an eligible RBC bank account, RBC Online Banking and the RBC Mobile app. The Snapshot appears once you have saved at least $2 or earned at least 1 Avion point. Private banking clients cannot access it.

If the option is missing, check that you meet the account and digital-banking requirements and have crossed one of the display thresholds. RBC’s eligibility and app labels may change, so consult its official Snapshot information if the path differs.
How Snapshot relates to RBC Vantage and the Value Program
- RBC Vantage is the broader description of benefits associated with eligible RBC bank accounts.
- Vantage Snapshot is the in-app summary of certain savings and rewards associated with your products.
- The Value Program is one way eligible customers may receive benefits, such as qualifying fee rebates and Avion points on debit purchases.
These terms are related but not interchangeable: Snapshot reports selected benefits, and it is not itself an account or a guarantee that every customer receives the same savings. RBC describes its Value Program separately. Other RBC money-management tools, such as NOMI, are also separate from Snapshot.
