Hero V03 is a free, minimal hero-section template from Colorlib for design studios, agencies, and creative portfolios. It centers on oversized serif type and an italic accent, then uses a compact row for studio details, services, availability, and a link to work. Colorlib says it uses plain HTML and CSS, needs no JavaScript, and can be used on its own or in Bootstrap projects; its stated license is CC BY 3.0, with a credit link required under Colorlib’s guidance.
What Hero V03 looks like
Hero V03 is an opening section for a website, not a complete site or a generic Bootstrap component. Its visual identity is built around typography rather than a large background photo or product image.
- An oversized serif headline, with an indented middle line and an italic accent word.
- A horizontal rule separating the headline from the supporting content.
- A lower row containing a rotating availability badge, a studio introduction, numbered services, and a link to the studio’s work.
The layout is aimed at studios that want their positioning and services visible immediately. Its type-led treatment is a different choice from image-led or product-led hero sections. See the Hero V03 template page for Colorlib’s description and presentation.

Does Hero V03 require Bootstrap or JavaScript?
Colorlib describes the template as plain HTML and CSS that does not require JavaScript. It can be used by itself or within Bootstrap 4, 5, or 6 projects, according to Colorlib’s Bootstrap hero roundup. That means Bootstrap is an option for integrating it into a Bootstrap site, not a prerequisite for the template.

Colorlib also says the mobile navigation links remain visible and move below the logo. This is the publisher’s description; it is not an independent responsive-behavior test.
Does Bootstrap 5 still have a jumbotron?
No. Colorlib’s September 2026 roundup says Bootstrap 5 dropped the jumbotron component, and that large opening blocks are commonly built as hero sections instead. Hero V03 is best understood as a styled hero section, not as a Bootstrap 5 jumbotron component.

Who should use Hero V03?
Colorlib identifies design agencies, studios, and creative portfolios as its intended audience. It fits a site that wants a concise studio introduction, a visible service list, and a prominent route to portfolio work. If the page depends on photography or product imagery to communicate its purpose, this template’s typography-first approach may be a less natural fit.
Is Hero V03 free, and what credit is required?
Colorlib lists Hero V03 as free and gives it a CC BY 3.0 license. Colorlib’s roundup says its hero templates may be used in personal and commercial projects if the credit link is kept. Preserve the required attribution link when using the template, and review the license and credit instructions on the template page before publishing. This summarizes Colorlib’s stated terms; it is not legal advice.
