- Keyboard interaction: Test whether users can navigate the links and dropdown without a mouse, close an open sidebar with Escape where appropriate, and return focus to the control that opened it.
- Accessible names: Make sure icon-only controls and navigation links have meaningful labels.
- State: Decide whether the sidebar should remember a collapsed or expanded state after a user selects a link or returns to the page.
These are evaluation criteria, not confirmed V08 features. Colorlib’s guide raises them when discussing sidebar selection, but the available pages do not report an independent accessibility or performance test of the exact V08 download.

Why the listed release dates conflict
