Nomadic Crafting lets you field-craft seven reported item types during a raid in Arc Raiders: four ammo categories, two traversal tools, and a grenade. Current guides list shotgun, light, medium, and heavy ammo; a Grappling Hook; a Zipline; and a Shrapnel Grenade. The item list comes from secondary guides, not Embark’s official patch notes.
Items Nomadic Crafting reportedly unlocks
Two current guides describe these as items you can craft in the field during a raid:
- Shotgun ammo
- Light ammo
- Medium ammo
- Heavy ammo
- Grappling Hook
- Zipline
- Shrapnel Grenade
The guides were current for the Frozen Trail update, which Embark said went live October 8, 2026. Embark’s official notes do not independently enumerate these seven items, so check the in-game skill description for the current list.

Where Nomadic Crafting fits in the Survival tree
Secondary guides place Nomadic Crafting late in the Survival skill tree, after In-round Crafting and Traveling Tinkerer. Beebom reports that reaching the node requires an investment of 30 or 40 Survival points. Embark’s Frozen Trail notes confirm the broader end-of-branch structure: players meet a required skill-point investment to access end-branch choices and may select up to two of three skills. The official notes do not confirm Nomadic Crafting’s specific point threshold.

Earlier skills broaden field crafting too. A community-maintained skill reference lists In-round Crafting recipes including Flame Spray, Shaker, grenades, healing items, and consumables. It lists Traveling Tinkerer unlocks such as Noisemaker, grenade traps, Herbal Bandage, and Raider Hatch Key. These lists are secondary; use the live in-game skill display to verify current unlocks.
What is not confirmed about recipes
The available sources do not establish the exact resource cost for each Nomadic Crafting item or a universal blueprint requirement. Embark’s patch notes discuss fixes to recipe-learning notifications for Snap Hook, Blaze Grenade, and Crash Mat, but do not say that every Nomadic Crafting recipe requires a blueprint.
Defibrillator crafting is also unresolved. Beebom says the item cannot be crafted in a raid with this skill, while community discussion says it may be possible after learning a blueprint. The official notes reviewed do not settle the disagreement, so do not treat either claim as definitive without checking the current game.
