The Sealy Posturepedic Aspire Revive is listed by CHOICE as a queen-size spring mattress with a claimed firm feel, but CHOICE also marks it as discontinued. Its publicly accessible product record gives basic specifications, not the expert score or performance findings needed to judge comfort, support, or durability. Treat it as a specific older model to verify with a seller—not as a currently available mattress with established test results.
What the Aspire Revive is
CHOICE identifies the Sealy Posturepedic Aspire Revive as an instore-retail, queen-size spring mattress with a claimed firm feel. Its record calls the core “Light spring.” These are specifications in CHOICE’s product record, not independently verified current manufacturer details. CHOICE’s public product page identifies the model as a “Spring mattress, priced at $2799.”
What CHOICE lists about its construction
| Specification | CHOICE listing |
|---|---|
| Size | Queen |
| Mattress type | Spring mattress |
| Claimed feel | Firm |
| Core label | Light spring |
| Springs | 242 per square metre |
| Layers | 11 |
| Weight | 32 kg |
| Thickness | 28 cm |
| Handles | Eight, at the front and sides |
CHOICE says the cover composition and dimensions were not tested. Its public record does not expose a value for the memory-foam-layer field, so the listed layer count does not reveal the full material construction.

CHOICE’s expert rating, recommended-product status, and performance measures are available only to members. The public page also withholds its findings under “Pros” and “Cons.” The obscured measures include support when new and over time, stability, sagging resistance, breathability, wear resistance, and warmth or coolness. Without those results, the public record does not establish whether this mattress is comfortable, supportive for a particular sleeper, durable, cool, or good value.

General claims about Sealy as a brand are not test results for the Aspire Revive. A buyer who needs evidence on a particular performance measure would need access to the relevant model-specific results or reliable seller documentation; the public record alone cannot answer that question.
Availability and the prices shown by CHOICE
CHOICE marks the Aspire Revive as a discontinued model. That status does not establish whether an individual retailer still has remaining stock or whether a unit is available second-hand; confirm availability and the exact model with the seller.

The CHOICE page displays A$2,799 and a “Price paid on sale/after bargaining” of A$1,149. It does not show when either figure was observed or published. These are undated values displayed on the page, not current quotes, a verified discount, or a reliable guide to what a remaining unit should cost.

How to compare it with an available mattress
Because the Aspire Revive is listed as discontinued and its public performance results are unavailable, compare the actual offer—not just the model name—with an alternative you can buy now. Focus on:
- Whether firmness is a claim or supported by useful model-specific testing.
- The construction details and height, including whether material layers are identified.
- The current delivered price rather than undated historical page figures.
- Written return, trial, and warranty terms, and which seller is responsible.
- Confirmed stock and the condition of the specific mattress being sold.
Sealy’s official US site provides general collection information and a retailer-finder route, but it does not establish availability or purchase terms for this discontinued model. Sealy’s US website should not be treated as confirmation that the Aspire Revive is sold in a particular market.
