No website screenshot API in the available documentation is verified as accepting Indian RuPay cards. Screenshot API documentation explains how to generate screenshots; it does not necessarily disclose checkout methods. Confirm RuPay or a supported UPI payment route with the provider before subscribing.

Why the available evidence does not identify a RuPay-accepting API

A website screenshot API is a hosted service that renders a URL into an image or document in response to an API request. Its technical documentation may describe authentication, formats and rendering controls without saying which cards or payment methods its billing checkout accepts. For example, ScreenshotAPI’s getting-started documentation describes the API but does not establish RuPay acceptance; neither does the Screenshot API REST reference.

That distinction matters: an API’s ability to produce a screenshot is separate from whether a customer in India can pay for it with a particular card brand. The reviewed material does not verify a provider that accepts RuPay, directly or through UPI.

What RuPay through UPI does—and does not—prove

Oracle’s India Unified Payment Interface (UPI) User Guide, version 14.8.2 dated April 16, 2026, describes RuPay credit cards being used through UPI at merchants and payment flows involving payment apps, PSPs, NPCI and banks. This establishes a general payment-system capability, not that a specific screenshot API’s checkout accepts RuPay or UPI. The API vendor must support the relevant payment route.

How to verify payment acceptance before signing up

  1. Check the provider’s checkout or billing page while selecting India as the billing country, if that option is available. Look for RuPay explicitly; a generic mention of cards is not confirmation.
  2. Ask the provider whether Indian RuPay credit and debit cards are accepted, and whether recurring subscriptions work. If you intend to pay through UPI, ask whether that exact checkout supports UPI for new subscriptions and renewals.
  3. Confirm billing currency, country restrictions, recurring-payment behavior and any trial or usage allowance in the provider’s current terms. These details can differ by account location and may change.
  4. Keep the provider’s written confirmation or check the available payment methods at checkout before committing. Do not assume a successful one-time payment means recurring billing will also work.

A search result for GcrawlAI’s pricing page mentions RuPay payments in INR, but the available evidence does not establish GcrawlAI as a website screenshot API. That claim therefore does not answer which screenshot API to choose.

ScreenshotNeo as an API alternative

ScreenshotNeo is a website screenshot API and MCP server for developers. Its listed plan and payment details do not establish RuPay acceptance, so verify your preferred payment method with ScreenshotNeo before subscribing. The API can return PNG, JPEG, WebP or PDF; payment compatibility remains a separate checkout question.
