A page loading in your browser does not mean Wachete can reach or render it the same way. Wachete checks pages from its own servers and says automated-bot protection is a common cause of a Forbidden response. Check the exact error, then try Dynamic mode or another monitoring location—one change at a time—before deciding the site is down.
Why Wachete can fail when your browser works
Your browser and Wachete are separate clients. Your browser may have an established login session, load JavaScript, or connect from a network location that the monitor does not share. Wachete says its checks run on its servers in different locations; it supports JavaScript-rendered and login-protected pages, but the monitor may need the matching mode or login flow configured. A Wachete alert therefore does not, by itself, establish that the page is unavailable to ordinary visitors. The specific error and monitor configuration matter. Without the URL, exact alert text, and settings, it is not possible to diagnose a particular failure.

Troubleshoot the monitor in this order
- Read the exact error and inspect the monitor history. Note whether Wachete reports Forbidden, a timeout, an unavailable response, or a successful load that lacks the expected content. - Test a different monitoring location. Wachete explicitly recommends changing location when a page does not load properly. A location-based access rule or network-path difference could explain the result, but the available information cannot confirm that as the cause for your URL. Wachete FAQ
- If the response is Forbidden, investigate bot protection. Wachete says a common reason for a Forbidden response is that the site is protected against automated bots such as Wachete. Its FAQ suggests trying a rotating residential proxy. That is a suggested troubleshooting option, not a guaranteed fix; check that monitoring access is permitted by the site. Wachete FAQ
- Verify authentication and required interactions. If the page works only while you are signed in, confirm the monitor is configured for the required credentials and steps. Wachete says it supports password-protected pages and describes using a flow monitor for interactions such as entering credentials. - If you administer the site, compare the failure with server records. Check access controls and server logs against the monitor’s error and timing. Wachete describes uptime checks and records of up/down periods; comparing those records with your own logs is a practical diagnostic step, not a specific Wachete-documented procedure. Change one setting at a time
To identify what matters, keep a short record of the original error and result after each test. First compare the current mode with Dynamic, then the current location with another available location. If sign-in is required, compare an unauthenticated check with the configured login or flow. Changing only one factor at a time makes a successful result more informative than changing several settings together. Wachete documents these capabilities; this sequence is a troubleshooting method.

- Dynamic fixes missing content: the page may depend on client-side rendering.
- A new location changes the result: location or network path may be relevant, though that alone does not prove the precise cause.
- Only the login flow works: the monitor likely needed the same authentication steps as your browser session.
- Forbidden persists: bot protection remains a possibility; confirm the site permits the kind of automated access you are attempting.
