If a Wachete monitor keeps asking you to sign in, first verify that it is set up as a flow monitor and that sign-in succeeds in its preview. If you can sign in but the monitored content is missing, test Dynamic mode and another monitoring location. Treat a “Forbidden” response as a separate possible bot-blocking issue—not proof that your login expired. Wachete’s public guidance does not promise that a destination site’s authenticated session will stay valid indefinitely.
1. Verify the login flow in Wachete
Wachete’s FAQ says to create the monitor using “Just part of page,” sign in through the page preview, and then select the content to monitor. Flow monitors are marked with the symbol ᐅ. Wachete FAQ
- Open the monitor’s preview. For a new or misconfigured monitor, create it using “Just part of page.”
- Enter the destination site’s login and password in the preview, then click “Sign In.”
- After sign-in, select the page content you want Wachete to monitor.
- Confirm that the monitor is marked with ᐅ, indicating a flow monitor.
If sign-in fails in the preview, the monitor has not demonstrated that its login flow works. Check the credentials and the destination’s sign-in process before troubleshooting how the selected content is rendered.
2. Sign-in succeeds, but the monitored content is missing
A successful login and a loaded page section are separate checks. If the desired content is blank or incomplete after sign-in, test whether it appears only when the preview uses Dynamic mode. Wachete says JavaScript-generated content may require dynamic monitoring. Its FAQ’s practical test is whether the content appears in the normal preview or only after switching the preview to Dynamic. - Check the normal preview after signing in and note whether the exact content you selected appears.
- Switch the preview to Dynamic and check the same content again.
- If Dynamic mode displays the content, use it for the monitor; if neither preview does, try another monitoring location.
Wachete recommends trying Dynamic mode, changing the monitoring location, or combining both when content does not load properly. These options address page loading and rendering; they do not renew an expired destination-site session. Wachete FAQ
3. Treat “Forbidden” as a different failure
If the response is “Forbidden,” investigate access denial rather than assuming the saved login expired. Wachete says bot protection is a common reason for Forbidden responses and suggests trying a rotating residential proxy. That suggestion applies to the bot-blocking branch; Wachete does not say that a proxy renews an expired login session or fixes every Forbidden error. Wachete FAQ

4. Check monitor timestamps before assuming a check failed
The time shown in Wachete’s “My Monitors” list is the last detected change, not necessarily the time of the latest poll. Open the monitor details to distinguish the last check from the last change. Wachete FAQ

Wachete’s public FAQ explains how to create a password-protected flow monitor, but it does not establish a guaranteed session duration or diagnose the rules of an unspecified destination site. If the flow is configured correctly and the preview repeatedly asks you to sign in, check the target service’s own authentication and session policies. Its controls may require reauthentication. The available guidance does not identify a particular cause—such as session timeout, MFA, CAPTCHA, or password rotation—without details about the target site and the error.

If the setup steps do not resolve the issue, contact Wachete at info@wachete.com with the monitor URL or ID and the error details. That gives support the specific monitor and failure to investigate.
