Vultr Cloud Compute पर YouTube stream बार-बार disconnect हो तो पहले पता करें कि OBS आपके Vultr VM पर चल रहा है या अपने computer पर। फिर OBS Stats में dropped frames और connection status देखें: लगातार बढ़ते dropped frames आम तौर पर OBS और YouTube ingest server के बीच network path या bitrate की समस्या का संकेत हैं। अगर connection स्थिर है, लेकिन encoding lag या CPU pressure दिखता है, तो VM के संसाधन और encoder load जाँचें। नीचे दिया क्रम कारण अलग करने और सुधार को सुरक्षित रूप से परखने में मदद करता है।
पहले समझें: OBS कहाँ चल रहा है और stream किस रास्ते से जा रही है?
OBS सीधे stream destination से जुड़ता है; OBS Project खुद बीच में streaming server नहीं देता। इसलिए एक ही “Vultr समस्या” मानकर troubleshooting शुरू न करें। तय करें कि OBS स्थानीय computer पर है या Vultr VM पर, और क्या stream सीधे YouTube को जा रही है या किसी incoming RTMP relay के रास्ते।
- OBS स्थानीय computer पर: YouTube तक पहला network hop आपका अपना internet connection है। Vultr VM तब तक इस stream path का हिस्सा नहीं है, जब तक आपने उसे relay के रूप में configure न किया हो।
- OBS Vultr VM पर: OBS से YouTube तक outbound connection Vultr instance के network से जाता है। साथ में VM का CPU और instance resource pressure भी जाँचें।
- फोन या laptop से Vultr पर RTMP relay: पहले device से Vultr तक incoming RTMP connection, फिर Vultr से YouTube तक outbound stream जाँचें। Firewall का port 1935 वाला निर्देश इसी relay architecture के लिए प्रासंगिक है, हर OBS-to-YouTube setup के लिए नहीं।
Vultr का VPC Vultr resources के बीच private route देता है; इससे YouTube तक जाने वाला बाहरी internet path अपने आप ठीक नहीं होता।
OBS में कौन-से संकेत देखें?
Dropped frames और connection status
Live test के दौरान OBS में View > Stats खोलें और dropped-frames counter तथा connection indicator देखें। OBS Project के अनुसार dropped frames या बीच-बीच में disconnect remote stream ingest server तक अस्थिर या चुने bitrate को संभालने में असमर्थ network connection का संकेत है। OBS playback जारी रखने और buffering कम रखने के लिए frames गिरा सकता है। यह संकेत अकेले यह नहीं बताता कि दोष आपके स्थानीय connection, Vultr route या YouTube ingest तक पहुँचने में है—पहले तय करें कि OBS कहाँ चल रहा है।

Encoding lag और CPU load
यदि connection indicator स्थिर है लेकिन encoding lag दिखता है, तो OBS जिस मशीन पर चल रहा है उसके CPU और encoder load की जाँच करें। Vultr की OBS-on-Ubuntu guide stream के दौरान CPU usage देखने और 90% से ऊपर होने पर output resolution घटाने या अधिक vCPU वाले plan पर विचार करने का सुझाव देती है। एक अलग Vultr Broadcaster guide स्वस्थ stream के लिए CPU को 50% से नीचे रखने की सलाह देती है। ये अलग setup के operational सुझाव हैं, कोई सार्वभौमिक सीमा या स्वतंत्र benchmark नहीं; अपने OBS संकेतों और VM के वास्तविक load के साथ इन्हें समझें।
Resolution और bitrate को network क्षमता के मुताबिक रखें
Vultr की OBS-on-Ubuntu guide नीचे की bitrate ranges को resolution और frame rate के लिए शुरुआती संदर्भ के रूप में देती है। ये हर VM, route या YouTube ingest पर guaranteed settings नहीं हैं। यदि dropped frames लगातार बढ़ें, तो पहले resolution और FPS स्थिर रखकर bitrate घटाएँ और test करें; जरूरत पड़ने पर output resolution या FPS भी घटाएँ।

इस table को लक्ष्य नहीं, test range समझें। कम bitrate पर stream स्थिर हो जाए तो आपका चुना हुआ higher bitrate उस समय उपलब्ध route या instance की क्षमता से अधिक हो सकता है।

Dynamically change bitrate को केवल अस्थायी fallback मानें
OBS में Settings > Advanced > Network पर जाकर Dynamically change bitrate to manage congestion विकल्प अस्थायी रूप से आजमाया जा सकता है। OBS स्पष्ट करता है कि यह मूल network समस्या का समाधान नहीं है; congestion के समय bitrate घटने से picture quality भी घट सकती है। यदि समस्या बनी रहे तो इसे सक्षम रखना स्थायी network fix नहीं है—route और स्थिर bitrate की जाँच जारी रखें।

Disconnect के बाद OBS को दोबारा जुड़ने दें
Reconnect विकल्प stream को अस्थायी कटाव के बाद फिर जोड़ने में मदद करता है, लेकिन कारण दूर नहीं करता। Vultr की OBS guide में ये settings सुझाई गई हैं:
- OBS में Settings > Advanced > Network खोलें।
- Automatically Reconnect सक्षम करें।
- Retry Delay को 3 सेकंड या उससे कम रखें।
- Maximum Retries को 1000 या अधिक रखें।
Stream key को केवल OBS के उपयुक्त stream settings और YouTube Live control room में संभालें। इसे screenshots, सार्वजनिक लेख या किसी साझा log में न दिखाएँ।

Vultr VM, bandwidth और firewall को सही path पर जाँचें
CPU और instance pressure
यदि OBS Vultr VM पर चल रहा है, तो stream के समय VM का CPU usage और अन्य resource pressure देखें। CPU अधिक हो तो पहले output load घटाकर दोबारा test करें; अधिक vCPU वाले plan पर तभी विचार करें जब आपके माप से जरूरत सिद्ध हो। केवल dropped frames देखकर VM upgrade न करें—OBS के अनुसार dropped frames का सामान्य कारण remote ingest तक network की स्थिरता या क्षमता है।
Outbound bandwidth usage
YouTube को भेजी जा रही stream Vultr resource से बाहर जाने वाला outbound data है। Vultr के अनुसार outbound internet transfer usage में गिना जाता है, जबकि inbound traffic नहीं। Vultr Console में Bandwidth Usage पृष्ठ पर मौजूदा या पिछले billing cycle का transfer और लागू overage देखें। Usage अधिक दिखना अपने आप disconnect का कारण साबित नहीं करता, लेकिन यह billing और transfer allowance की जाँच के लिए जरूरी संकेत है।

Vultr Broadcaster guide में TCP 1935 खोलने का निर्देश उस वैकल्पिक रास्ते के लिए है जिसमें phone या laptop से RTMP feed, Vultr पर चल रहे Nginx/OBS तक आती है। यदि आपका OBS सीधे YouTube को stream कर रहा है, तो इस निर्देश को लागू न मानें। Incoming RTMP relay इस्तेमाल हो तो Vultr firewall और VM firewall दोनों में TCP 1935 की अनुमति जाँचें, और जोखिम घटाने के लिए inbound access को जहाँ संभव हो ज्ञात स्रोत IP तक सीमित रखें। सीधे YouTube stream में अपने चुने RTMP या RTMPS endpoint तक outbound रास्ता जाँचें। YouTube RTMPS, TLS/SSL connection पर RTMP transport है।

VPN और security software को नियंत्रित तरीके से अलग करें
OBS troubleshooting के अनुसार security software connection रोक सकता है और VPN अस्थिरता ला सकता है। कारण की जाँच के लिए नियंत्रित, अस्थायी test करें: एक बार में केवल VPN या संबंधित security rule बदलें और OBS Stats देखें। यदि test से कारण की पुष्टि हो, तो OBS के लिए उपयुक्त exception लगाएँ; protection को बंद छोड़ने के बजाय फिर सक्षम करें।
YouTube stream offline दिखे तो क्या करें?
यदि OBS connection स्थिर दिखाता है लेकिन YouTube control room stream को offline बताता है, तो Live control room में वर्तमान live status और चुना ingest destination जाँचें। Vultr VM से भेज रहे हों तो उसी समय Vultr status page पर अपने संबंधित region की घटना भी देखें। यहाँ उपलब्ध जानकारी किसी खास समय या region में outage की पुष्टि नहीं करती; इसलिए किसी outage को बिना status संकेत के कारण न मानें।

- Path पहचानें: OBS स्थानीय computer पर है या Vultr VM पर? क्या YouTube तक सीधा stream है या Vultr RTMP relay?
- Settings सत्यापित करें: OBS stream destination/service और YouTube Live control room में दिखने वाला stream key जाँचें। Key को सार्वजनिक न करें।
- Live test में OBS Stats देखें: dropped frames और connection status बढ़ें तो network/bitrate पर ध्यान दें; connection स्थिर लेकिन encoding lag हो तो CPU और encoder load देखें।
- Bitrate घटाकर अलग test करें: पहले resolution/FPS स्थिर रखें; समस्या जारी हो तो output resolution या FPS घटाएँ। Vultr की ranges को केवल शुरुआती संदर्भ मानें।
- अस्थायी fallback आजमाएँ: OBS के Advanced > Network में dynamic bitrate विकल्प test करें, यह जानते हुए कि quality घट सकती है और मूल कारण बना रह सकता है।
- Reconnect सक्षम करें: Retry Delay 3 सेकंड या कम तथा Maximum Retries 1000 या अधिक रखें।
- Vultr metrics देखें: उसी test समय के CPU/resource pressure और Console के Bandwidth Usage की जाँच करें। जरूरत सिद्ध हो तभी अधिक vCPU पर विचार करें।
- VPN/security test करें: बदलाव अस्थायी और एक-एक करके करें; पुष्टि के बाद उपयुक्त security exception लगाएँ और protection फिर सक्षम रखें।
- केवल relay setup में firewall जाँचें: Incoming RTMP relay के लिए TCP 1935 और source restriction देखें; direct YouTube egress के लिए outbound route/endpoint जाँचें।
- YouTube और Vultr status जाँचें: OBS जुड़ा हो लेकिन YouTube offline बताए तो control room destination/status और संबंधित Vultr region का status देखें।
