The vivo X500 FE has not been officially announced, but a report says model numbers linked to the phone have appeared in certification databases in Indonesia and Europe. Those listings suggest vivo may be preparing the device for markets beyond China; they do not confirm a release date, countries, price, specifications, or retail availability.
Is the vivo X500 FE official?
Not yet, based on the sources available as of October 8, 2026. Notebookcheck reported that the expected successor to the X300 FE had appeared in multiple certification databases, but vivo has not announced the X500 FE in the cited official launch materials. Notebookcheck’s October 8 report is the source for the certification claims.
vivo introduced the X500, X500 Pro, and X500 Pro Max in Shanghai on September 21, 2026. Its China launch announcement names those three models and does not include an FE. vivo’s China newsroom also gives China opening-sale information for the announced models, but those details do not apply to an unannounced FE.
What do the reported certification listings show?
- Indonesia’s TKDN listing: Notebookcheck says it lists model V2653 and confirms 5G connectivity. The listing reportedly provides no other specifications.
- IMEI databases: The report says models V2653 and V2654 appear in IMEI listings. These entries help track model numbers but do not prove that a phone is on sale.
- European EEC database: Notebookcheck reports an EEC appearance for V2653. This is consistent with preparation for a broader market rollout, but it does not identify confirmed sale countries or availability dates.
Notebookcheck attributes the TKDN information to TheTechOutlook and the IMEI and EEC information to Android Treasure. The underlying database records are not included in the cited report, so the listings should be treated as reported rather than as independently verified launch details.

Does “global release” mean the X500 FE is coming to Europe or the Philippines?
Not on the evidence currently available. The certification appearances point to international regulatory activity, but they do not establish which markets will get the FE. vivo has not published an X500 FE country list or local sale listing in the sources cited here.
The wider X500 series does have international plans. vivo’s Official Store lists an X500 Series event and EU launch and pre-orders for October 27, 2026, at 16:00 CET, with sales beginning November 5. The page does not name the FE, so those dates apply to the series event as listed—not specifically to the X500 FE. Check vivo’s Official Store event page for the stated schedule.

A vivo Philippines article reports the September 21 global launch of the X500 series and says the series is planned for the Philippines, while noting that local availability details had not been announced. It discusses the X500, X500 Pro, and X500 Pro Max, not the FE. vivo Philippines’ X500 coverage therefore does not confirm an FE release there.

The X300 FE is described as the expected predecessor, launched in April 2026 with a 6.31-inch AMOLED display, Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, and Zeiss-tuned cameras. Those are X300 FE details—not specifications for the X500 FE—and should not be used to fill gaps in the new model’s spec sheet.
