The vivo X100 Pro 5G costs ₹28,000 more than the X100 in the displayed India store listings, but that comparison pairs the Pro’s 16GB+512GB configuration with the X100’s 12GB+256GB model. Both share the Dimensity 9300 chip, a 6.78-inch 120Hz AMOLED display and IP68 rating. The Pro’s main distinctions are its specified camera hardware, larger listed battery and wireless charging; the X100 offers higher listed wired charging wattage and a lower displayed price.

How different are their cameras?
X100 Pro: more detail about the camera hardware
vivo describes the X100 Pro as having a 1-inch 50MP IMX989 main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), plus a 50MP ZEISS APO floating telephoto camera with OIS. Those are manufacturer specifications and design descriptions, not independent camera-test results. vivo’s X100 Pro overview provides the camera hardware description.
X100: resolutions without the same detail in the listed parameters
The X100 parameter page lists rear camera resolutions of 50MP, 50MP and 64MP, and its product overview describes ZEISS telephoto imaging. The listed megapixel counts do not establish which phone takes better photographs or offers better zoom in practice; no independent camera comparison is available here.

Battery and charging: capacity is not runtime
The Pro has the larger listed typical-equivalent battery capacity: 5400mAh versus 5000mAh on the X100. That difference alone does not prove longer battery life, which depends on use and other conditions. vivo lists 100W wired and 50W wireless FlashCharge for the Pro, while the X100 lists 120W wired FlashCharge. Wattage is a specification, not a guarantee of charging time under every condition.
Price difference in India—and the configuration caveat
vivo India’s online store displayed the X100 12GB+256GB at ₹68,999 and the X100 Pro 16GB+512GB at ₹96,999. The arithmetic difference is ₹28,000, but it is not a like-for-like comparison: the Pro listing has twice the storage and more listed RAM. These are India-specific displayed prices observed on October 7, 2026; prices and stock can change, and the listings do not establish prices in other countries.

Choose the X100 Pro if its specific extras matter
- You want the documented 1-inch main camera and stabilized ZEISS APO floating telephoto hardware.
- You value wireless charging or the larger listed battery capacity.
- The 16GB+512GB configuration suits your needs and its current local price fits your budget.
Choose the X100 if you want the lower displayed price or faster-rated wired charging
- You want to spend less based on the displayed India store listing.
- You prefer the higher listed wired charging wattage and do not need wireless charging.
- One of its listed storage configurations and its camera package meet your requirements.
Both models list the same processor, headline display specifications and IP68 rating, so those specifications alone do not distinguish the Pro as an upgrade. No independent benchmark, camera comparison or battery-runtime result is established here; the choice rests on the documented hardware, configuration and current price in your market.
