The vivo T4 5G has the stronger verified charging specification and a higher-resolution front camera; the POCO M8 Power 5G is reported to offer a larger battery and screen. There is no dependable fixed price gap in the available listings: compare the same RAM and storage tier, seller, stock status, and discount terms before choosing. POCO’s specifications below are third-party reports, not manufacturer-confirmed details.

vivo T4 vs POCO M8 Power 5G: specifications

The vivo figures in this comparison come from vivo’s official T4 5G specifications page. POCO figures are reported by comparison sites and should be treated as provisional until confirmed by POCO. One notable discrepancy is the POCO display size: comparison pages give either 6.83 or 6.9 inches.

How the phones compare in everyday use

Performance

The T4’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 is the higher-tier chipset named in the available specifications, while the POCO is reported to use a Snapdragon 4 Gen 4. That points to different platform tiers, but a chipset name alone does not establish how either phone performs in a particular game or workload. 91mobiles reports higher Geekbench multi-core and battery-test results for the vivo in its comparison; those are that publisher’s test results, not a guarantee of speed or endurance in every user’s conditions.

Screen and handling

The T4 has a verified 6.77-inch AMOLED screen with a 2392 × 1080 resolution and a refresh rate rated up to 120 Hz. The POCO is also reported to have a 120 Hz AMOLED panel, but sources disagree on whether it measures 6.83 or 6.9 inches. If screen size is a deciding factor, confirm the exact POCO specification for the India model before buying. The T4’s listed weight is 199 g, compared with a third-party-reported 225 g for the POCO, so the vivo is lighter on the figures available.

Cameras and selfies

vivo specifies a 50 MP rear camera with optical image stabilisation (OIS), a 2 MP depth camera, and a 32 MP front camera. Comparison pages report a 50 MP main rear camera and an 8 MP front camera for the POCO, but those POCO details lack manufacturer confirmation here. Megapixel counts do not establish image quality; they do show that the T4 has the higher stated front-camera resolution and an explicitly specified OIS rear camera.

Battery and charging

vivo lists the T4 battery as 7300 mAh typical capacity and 7170 mAh rated capacity, with support for up to 90 W FlashCharge. vivo says charging power adjusts with the scene and actual use, so 90 W is a supported maximum, not a promise that charging will always run at that power. Comparison sites report an 8000 mAh battery and 45 W charging for the POCO. The reported capacity is larger, but capacity figures alone do not establish real-world battery life, and the POCO figures need official confirmation.

Software support

91mobiles reports two years of OS updates and three years of security updates for the vivo, and four years of OS updates and six years of security updates for the POCO. Smartprix also lists similar POCO support. These are comparison-site claims; the vivo specification page does not establish a support commitment, and an official POCO policy was not available in the sources reviewed. Verify the manufacturer’s current update policy if support duration is central to your decision.

What is the price difference?

The available prices are snapshots from listings and comparison pages, not a synchronized, like-for-like price check. vivo’s India shop listed the T4 5G 8 GB + 128 GB at ₹25,999 and showed it out of stock when checked. Third-party comparison pages listed the POCO at ₹23,945 on Amazon (91mobiles), ₹24,388 (Beebom), and ₹24,390 (Smartprix); comparison pages also showed the vivo at around ₹24,999. These amounts may reflect different dates, sellers, variants, or offer terms, so they do not establish a current price difference.

For a fair comparison, check both phones on the same day and match RAM and storage as closely as possible. Note the seller and stock status, and separate the listed price from bank offers, exchange discounts, or other conditional savings. The vivo shop’s listed T4 configuration was out of stock at the displayed price.

Which one should you buy?

  • Consider the vivo T4 5G if you value a manufacturer-verified 32 MP front camera, OIS on the main rear camera, a lighter listed weight, or support for up to 90 W charging.
  • Consider the POCO M8 Power 5G if its reported 8000 mAh battery or larger reported screen appeals to you, and you can verify the exact India model and specifications before purchase.
  • Make price the final tiebreaker only after checking matched RAM and storage, current stock, seller, and discount conditions. The available price snapshots are not sufficient to say that one phone currently costs a specific amount less.

For the T4’s official specifications and configuration list, see vivo’s T4 5G page; for its shop listing and availability, check the vivo India shop page. The POCO specifications and prices cited above come from 91mobiles, Beebom, and Smartprix; check POCO’s current official India details and retailer listings before relying on them.
