Urlbox’s public materials describe a screenshot-rendering service, API and command-line tool, but do not establish the current support status or behavior of the specific Chrome extension in this title. The available information also does not confirm a Windows compatibility defect, an India-specific restriction, or a known outage. Start with Chrome’s extension controls, collect precise symptoms, and ask Urlbox support whether the extension is maintained for your versions.
First, establish what is failing
A Chrome extension that captures the page already open in your browser is a different workflow from a service that opens a URL remotely and renders it. Urlbox documents the latter, but its public materials cited here do not explain this extension-specific failure.
Before changing settings, record the exact extension name and version shown in Chrome, your Chrome version and Windows version, the affected page, and what happens when you try to capture it. Note the exact error text, if any, and whether the problem affects one page or every page. Avoid posting private or sensitive URLs publicly.
Check Chrome’s extension settings

In Chrome, open More (the three-dot menu) > Extensions > Manage Extensions. Confirm the Urlbox extension is present and enabled. Google documents extension management and repair from this area in its Install and manage extensions help.

Review the extension’s site access for the page where capture fails. Google notes: “Some extensions need permission to read and change site data.” Grant only the access needed for your intended use: broad website access can expose sensitive data. Chrome’s extension permission guidance explains the scope of site-data access.

If Chrome offers a Repair action because it identifies the extension as corrupted, follow Chrome’s documented repair flow. This is a general Chrome recovery option, not a confirmed Urlbox-specific fix.

Compare a page-specific failure with a wider failure
Try capturing a second, ordinary webpage that does not contain private information. Note whether the extension fails on both pages or only on the original one. This comparison can help support distinguish a site-specific symptom from a broader extension problem; it is a diagnostic suggestion, not a vendor-confirmed procedure.

Do not assume that a CAPTCHA, HTTP 403 or 429 response, or nearly blank page explains a failed local extension capture. Urlbox discusses those outcomes for automated remote rendering, where websites may challenge or block an automated browser. That documentation does not establish the cause of an extension failure. Nor does mention of geography as one possible factor in remote-render blocking show that being in India causes this local problem. See Urlbox’s guidance on website blocking only if your actual workflow is a remote render and its result supports that diagnosis.

Contact Urlbox with useful diagnostic details
Urlbox’s support guidance for screenshot problems asks for artifacts such as a render link, API options, image URL or request ID. An extension-only problem may not produce those items. Include the details you recorded—extension, Chrome and Windows versions, affected page, exact error or observed behavior, and steps to reproduce—and say clearly that the failure occurs in the Chrome extension. Ask whether it is currently maintained and supported on your Chrome and Windows versions, and whether support knows of an issue affecting your region. Urlbox’s contact page lists its support options.
When Urlbox’s API or CLI may fit instead
If your goal is to generate screenshots automatically from URLs, rather than capture the active local tab, Urlbox separately documents API and CLI workflows. Its CLI installation instructions list Windows via Scoop. These are alternative workflows, not demonstrated repairs for the extension; they may not suit a task that depends on the current tab, its logged-in session or browser-only state. For remote renders, Urlbox’s render options describe full-page capture and ways to wait for page elements. Those options can matter if a remote render starts before content appears, but they are not documented settings for fixing the named extension.
