Twisted Tower has a clear visual hook: an abandoned 1950s theme park where fairy-tale mascots, puzzles and traps turn a familiar family attraction into a horror-tinged shooter adventure. Its publisher explicitly says the setting is reminiscent of BioShock and Disney World, so the comparison is real—but it describes the intended atmosphere, not proven similarities in combat or level design.
What is Twisted Tower?
Steam lists Twisted Tower as a single-player game developed by Atmos Games. Its store description sets the action in an abandoned 1950s theme park, promising a fight through “fairy-tale mascots, twisted puzzles, and deadly traps.” That premise puts the game in the shooter-adventure space, but the available official description does not establish detailed combat mechanics.
Why does the publisher compare it to BioShock?
The publisher describes the resort as an “abandoned 1950’s resort reminiscent of BioShock and Disney World.” The pairing suggests a contrast between an elaborate, once-inviting destination and an unsettling place left to decay. It is a useful clue to the game’s intended setting and presentation, not evidence that it plays like BioShock.
The stated premise supports expectations of themed environments, hostile mascots and environmental hazards. It does not, by itself, confirm BioShock-like powers, weapon systems, narrative structure, or exploration. Those details should be judged from gameplay footage or direct play rather than inferred from the comparison.

What areas will you explore?
The publisher identifies five attractions within the resort:
- Hotel
- Waterpark
- Clown casino
- Carnival forest
- Space station
This range gives the setting room to shift between distinct themed spaces, from a hotel and waterpark to a carnival forest and space station. The official list establishes the locations, but does not specify their length, order, or how differently they play.

What is known about replayability and playtime?
The official FAQ says paths, gameplay choices, difficulty levels, hidden areas and story variations can alter the time each player spends with the game. That is developer guidance about variables that may affect a run—not a measured or guaranteed completion-time estimate.

Is Twisted Tower worth your attention?
Twisted Tower is most promising on paper for players drawn to spooky theme-park settings and the contrast between nostalgic attractions and danger. The BioShock comparison is an aesthetic reference from the publisher, while the five named areas point to a deliberately varied resort backdrop. The official information establishes the single-player premise and broad setting, but does not settle how satisfying the combat, exploration, story or technical performance are. Steam is the verified platform listing in the available official information; broader platform availability is not established here.
