The company also says the headset supports 24-bit/96kHz Hi-Res wireless audio on a PC or another system that supports that output. The qualification matters: the stated format is available only where the connected system supports it. A specification alone does not establish how much difference listeners will hear in games, calls, or music.
How does the battery and charging system work?
Turtle Beach advertises two swappable batteries rated at 40 hours each, plus a transmitter station that doubles as a charger for the battery packs. The 40-hour figure is the manufacturer’s rating, not a guaranteed runtime for every user; connection type, volume, and configuration can affect actual use. The practical advantage is having another pack ready without waiting for the headset itself to charge.

There is one reported interruption to factor in: PC Gamer’s May 28, 2026 review says the headset did not stay powered while its battery was being swapped, so changing packs caused a short break in listening. The same reviewer found the dock useful as both a receiver and a charger, and reported that using a second receiver made switching between a console and PC convenient. Those are that reviewer’s observations, not a guarantee of every setup’s experience.
Is it comfortable for long sessions?
PC Gamer reported a weight of 393g with the microphone attached. Its reviewer described the headset as comfortable after some adjustment, while also saying its weight took time to get used to. That is a single reviewer’s experience, not a universal fit assessment. If you are sensitive to heavier headsets, treat weight as a meaningful consideration and, where possible, check the return policy before purchase.

PC Gamer’s May 28, 2026 review provides the specific observations on weight, adjustment, battery swapping, and the convenience of a second receiver described above. TechRadar published a review on May 17, 2026 that discusses changes from the previous Stealth Pro generation, including larger dual-driver hardware, Hi-Res certification, adjustable ANC, and a removable microphone.
