Which Rematch models work with Switch 2?
Turtle Beach sells a Rematch Wireless Controller and a separate Rematch Wired Controller. Both are listed as compatible with Nintendo Switch 2. The wireless model is also listed for Switch, Switch Lite and Switch OLED; the wired model is listed for Switch and Switch OLED, but Turtle Beach does not list Switch Lite for it.

Specifications are from Turtle Beach’s wireless and wired product pages. TechRadar’s finding about the missing 3.5 mm port applies to the wireless Mario variant it reviewed, not necessarily every feature of every design.
What does the wireless Rematch offer?
TMR sticks, motion controls and rear buttons
The wireless model’s TMR thumbsticks, motion controls and mappable quick-action buttons are intended for handheld-style Switch 2 play from a separate controller. TMR is the stick technology Turtle Beach specifies for this model; it should not be confused with the wired controller’s Hall-Effect sticks.

Battery life and RGB lighting
Turtle Beach estimates up to 40 hours of play per charge with RGB lighting off, or up to 12 hours with RGB effects on. These are manufacturer estimates, not independent battery-test results; actual runtime depends on use and lighting.
The company lists wireless range of up to 30 feet. Its page gives dimensions of 160 × 135 × 65 mm and weight of 0.36 kg.

How do the designs differ?
Wireless selections displayed on Turtle Beach’s product page at access included Charcoal Black, Mario Kart World, Rosalina, Koopa Troop, Mario & Luigi, K.K. Slider and Super Mario Jump. Availability and selections can change, and imagery or lighting details may be variant-specific. The page’s rendered Timmy & Tommy description, for example, refers to Animal Crossing imagery and four RGB modes; that copy should not be read as a description of every design.
In a March 10, 2026 announcement, Turtle Beach described the Mario & Luigi Rematch Wireless RGB model as having four dynamic RGB modes, motion controls, TMR sticks and a C Button. That announcement gave a US MSRP of $64.99, £54.99 and €64.99 and said it would arrive in stores March 30, 2026; those were launch details, not a guarantee of current regional pricing or stock. The wired controller has its own design options. Turtle Beach describes a Goomba Stomp version that glows in the dark, and also shows a black listing. These are wired-model designs, not wireless variants.
What is different about the wired Rematch?
The wired model connects through its attached 10-foot USB cable, so it does not need a battery for wired gameplay. It uses Hall-Effect thumbsticks and has two mappable rear buttons, a C Button and a 3.5 mm headset jack. Turtle Beach also lists USB-chat support. Its listed dimensions are 160 × 134.8 × 65 mm, and its weight is 172.9 g.

TechRadar’s February 28, 2026 review of the wireless Mario model reported that it lacked both a 3.5 mm port and NFC support. Tom’s Guide also describes the wireless controller as lacking rumble and NFC. Those are observations about the wireless controller, not a basis for attributing the same omissions to the wired model. Both Rematch controllers have a C Button for accessing Nintendo Switch 2’s GameChat feature. The button is a controller shortcut, not a replacement for the service’s access requirements. Turtle Beach’s March 2026 announcement says online features including GameChat require internet access, a Nintendo Account and Nintendo Switch Online membership after March 31, 2026. It also says video requires a compatible USB camera and that availability varies by country. Check Nintendo’s current service rules for your region before relying on GameChat access.

Price and availability: what is established?
Turtle Beach’s 2025 launch announcement listed US launch MSRPs of $64.99 for the wireless model and $29.99 for the wired model, with a November 24, 2025 launch date. These are historical launch prices, not current quotes. The official US wireless product page showed $64.99 on October 3, 2026; that dated observation does not establish today’s price, retailer price, stock or the price of every design.
