How the browser implementation is intended to work
Running a headless browser in a serverless function can add several seconds to a cold start, according to the author. The author says that if a remote image misses the renderer’s timeout, the endpoint returns the content rendered in time and flags the result rather than discarding the entire image. Treat this as the author’s description of intended behavior, not an independently tested reliability guarantee. If a graphic depends on a remote asset, check the returned image before using it.
