पुराने ThinkCentre Tiny से prerecorded वीडियो को YouTube Live पर encoder के जरिए चलाया जा सकता है, लेकिन उसका भरोसेमंद मासिक बिजली खर्च मॉडल के नाम या पावर एडाप्टर पर लिखे 65W/90W से नहीं निकलेगा। अपने वास्तविक streaming workload का wall power मापें, रोज़ के घंटे तय करें और अपने बिजली बिल की लागू marginal दर से गुणा करें। इंटरनेट का अतिरिक्त खर्च तभी जोड़ें जब मौजूदा plan या upload क्षमता पर्याप्त न हो।
मासिक बिजली खर्च कैसे निकालें
प्रति माह खर्च के लिए दो चीजें चाहिए: stream चलाते समय वास्तविक औसत power draw और आपकी स्थानीय marginal बिजली दर। भारत के लिए कोई एक प्रति-unit दर मान लेना सही नहीं होगा; राज्य, DISCOM, slab और समय-आधारित दरों से बिल बदल सकता है।
- वास्तविक workload मापें: plug-in energy meter को उस Tiny और उन आवश्यक peripherals के साथ लगाएँ जिन्हें stream में इस्तेमाल करेंगे। वीडियो playback और encoding चलने के बाद स्थिर अवस्था में reading लें; केवल idle reading उपयोगी अनुमान नहीं है।
- चलने के घंटे तय करें: 24/7 संचालन के लिए 24 घंटे प्रतिदिन रखें; कम समय के लिए अपने वास्तविक दैनिक घंटे इस्तेमाल करें।
- मासिक ऊर्जा निकालें: मासिक kWh = औसत watts ÷ 1,000 × घंटे प्रतिदिन × दिनों की संख्या।
- स्थानीय दर लगाएँ: मासिक बिजली रुपये = मासिक kWh × लागू marginal ₹/kWh। अपने मौजूदा bill या DISCOM tariff schedule में लागू दर देखें।
- बिल के अतिरिक्त घटक जाँचें: fixed charge, duty, fuel adjustment और slab या time-of-day (ToD) प्रभाव अलग हो सकते हैं; वे केवल इस गणना से तय नहीं होते।

क्या आपका ThinkCentre Tiny यह stream चला पाएगा?
YouTube encoder workflow से prerecorded video को live stream में भेजना संभव है। लेकिन केवल “ThinkCentre Tiny” जानने से real-time encoding क्षमता की पुष्टि नहीं होती। Exact model, CPU, memory, operating system, वीडियो codec, resolution और frame rate, तथा encoder में hardware encoding उपलब्ध है या नहीं—ये सभी मायने रखते हैं। पुराने Tiny पर इस विशेष काम का स्वतंत्र benchmark या मापा हुआ power draw उपलब्ध नहीं है, इसलिए किसी निश्चित performance या ₹/माह का दावा करने से पहले मशीन पर जाँच आवश्यक है।

एडाप्टर की rating बिजली खपत नहीं बताती
Lenovo के M710 Tiny PSREF में 65-watt AC/DC adapter (88% efficiency) और कुछ I/O-box configurations के लिए 90-watt adapter दर्ज हैं। M720 Tiny के दस्तावेज़ में 65W, 90W और 135W विकल्प दिए गए हैं। ये adapter क्षमता के विनिर्देश हैं, stream चलाते समय wall से ली गई लगातार बिजली की माप नहीं। इसलिए adapter label को watts मानकर मासिक bill न निकालें। अपने मॉडल के विकल्प देखें: M710 Tiny PSREF और M720 Tiny PSREF.
YouTube Live के लिए सेटअप और upload जरूरत
YouTube encoder के जरिए stream करने के लिए Live Control Room में stream बनाकर उसका stream URL और key encoder में डालें, फिर encoder शुरू करें। पहली बार live streaming enable करने में 24 घंटे तक लग सकते हैं। YouTube बताता है कि 12 घंटे से कम की live streams अपने-आप archive होती हैं; इससे लंबी 24/7 stream के लिए archival सीमा ध्यान में रखकर योजना बनाएं। चरण YouTube के encoder workflow में दिए हैं।

Protocol और encoder settings
YouTube H.264 RTMP/RTMPS ingestion का समर्थन करता है और RTMPS की सिफारिश करता है। H.264 encoding में CBR रखें। YouTube के सुझाए गए bitrate उदाहरण:

नेटवर्क और stream key
Lenovo India wired Ethernet और platform की upload-speed जरूरत के अनुरूप कनेक्शन की सलाह देता है। यदि आपके पास पहले से cable या पर्याप्त स्थिर wired link है, तो नया सामान खरीदना जरूरी नहीं। पुराने Tiny में Ethernet port और CPU/iGPU की क्षमता exact model पर निर्भर करेगी। Stream key को निजी रखें और encoder में वही URL/key डालें जो संबंधित YouTube stream के लिए दिया गया है। Lenovo की सलाह इस streaming setup guide में है।
कुल खर्च में बिजली के अलावा क्या जोड़ें
- इंटरनेट: यदि मौजूदा plan और upload क्षमता stream के लिए पर्याप्त हैं, तो अलग broadband खरीद लागत इस उपयोग की वजह से जरूरी नहीं। अपर्याप्त plan या connection upgrade करना पड़े तो अपने प्रदाता का वास्तविक अतिरिक्त शुल्क जोड़ें; यहाँ कोई सार्वदेशिक broadband कीमत या अतिरिक्त data charge स्थापित नहीं है।
- मशीन और रखरखाव: Tiny पहले से है तो इस गणना में उसका purchase price शामिल नहीं; लेकिन 24/7 संचालन में restart, monitoring और स्थानीय outage के लिए आपकी व्यवस्था मायने रखती है।
- स्ट्रीम की व्यावहारिकता: खर्च की तुलना केवल adapter wattage या बिजली की एक संख्या से न करें। वास्तविक kWh, स्थानीय marginal tariff, upload stability, encoder compatibility और restart/monitoring जरूरत साथ देखें।
