The asset owner is the default person responsible for correcting a wrong fact in Tencent Team Memory. For an asset shared with the team, a team Admin can also manage it. Who can edit depends on the asset’s visibility; fixing the source, however, does not by itself establish that agents which already read the old fact will refresh.
Who is allowed to fix the fact?
TencentDB Agent Memory organizes knowledge as assets with owners and visibility settings. The project documentation says an asset’s Owner automatically has management permissions. For an asset with team visibility, either its Owner or a team Admin can manage it. A private asset is readable only by its Owner, including by team Admins.

So “shared” does not mean every teammate can edit. Check the asset’s actual visibility and permissions rather than assuming that any team member—or every administrator—can change it. Tencent’s project documentation describes these asset-level controls.
What counts as a Team Memory asset?
Team Memory is TencentDB Agent Memory’s shared hub for reusable agent knowledge. The project names four asset types:

The repository says new Chat Memory and Skill assets are private by default, so making one available to a team requires an explicit sharing choice. The project also describes ownership, version and status metadata, usage counts, visibility controls, and agent bindings. Those features help teams manage knowledge assets, but they do not establish how corrections propagate to agents that have already used a fact.
Does correcting the source update agents that already read it?
The reviewed official documentation does not specify whether editing an asset automatically notifies agents, invalidates cached information, refreshes an agent’s current context, or replaces copies already consumed. That is a documentation gap, not proof that every release or deployment lacks those behaviors.

Keep two questions separate: who can correct the source asset, and how an agent receives that correction. The repository describes controls for versions, status, visibility, usage, and agent bindings, but the reviewed material does not explain a guaranteed downstream refresh or a way to identify every agent holding a stale fact.
How to handle a wrong fact in practice
Until your deployed version’s behavior is confirmed, treat this as a prudent team procedure—not as a built-in Tencent workflow:
- Identify the source asset. Determine whether the fact is in Chat Memory, a Skill, an LLM-Wiki, or a Code-Graph, rather than assuming it lives in a single shared prompt.
- Check its Owner and visibility. Use the deployed hub’s asset permissions to find an authorized editor. For a team-visible asset, the documented managers are the Owner and a team Admin; restricted access depends on its ACLs.
- Correct the source and review its metadata. Check the asset’s version and status as you make the correction, so teammates can distinguish the current source from older information.
- Review usage and agent bindings. The project describes usage counts and agent bindings. Use the controls available in your deployment to see which agents may be associated with the asset; do not treat that as proof that all previously consumed copies have refreshed.
- Verify downstream behavior. Test the relevant agents and confirm how your deployed release handles existing context, notifications, and stale information. Check the release notes for the version you run.
What if two teammates’ agents hold conflicting facts?
The reviewed Tencent documentation does not establish an explicit precedence rule or arbitration workflow for competing claims. It also does not specify a process for notifying everyone who may have relied on the old version. Teams should therefore resolve the source of truth with the authorized Owner or team Admin, make the chosen correction in the asset, and verify the affected agents rather than assuming one version automatically wins.
Tencent’s repository calls Team Memory beta and says it is evolving quickly; it describes release v2.0.0. Permission details and behavior can change, so confirm the documentation and release notes for the version actually deployed. The practical governance question remains whether that release provides a reliable refresh, notification, or conflict-resolution process.
