For the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra, Samsung’s listed anti-reflecting film is the documented choice if reducing reflections is your priority; Spigen’s listed tempered-glass option comes with an auto-alignment tray. Those are manufacturer-described differences, not proof that one material protects better overall. The available product information does not establish a tested winner for impact resistance, scratch protection, clarity, or durability.
What the two listed protectors offer
| Option | What the manufacturer lists | What that means for choosing |
|---|---|---|
| Samsung Anti-Reflecting Screen Protector, EF-UX930CTEGWW | Samsung identifies it as a film compatible with the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra and Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra. It says the coating is designed to reduce reflections and offers everyday protection against dust, smudges, and scratches. Samsung also says touch and S Pen performance are unaffected. These are Samsung’s claims, not independent test results. Package contents listed include dust-removal stickers, a microfiber cloth, a squeegee, applicators, and an installation guide. Dimensions: 222.4 × 322.4 × 0.3 mm. Samsung product listing | Consider it if reflection reduction is the feature you specifically want, and confirm regional availability before ordering. |
| Spigen Glas.tR EZ Fit Pro, SKU AGL10200 | Spigen identifies it as tempered glass compatible with the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra. The page lists an auto-alignment tray, oleophobic coating, and compatibility with Spigen’s Liquid Air case. Spigen says touch remains responsive; it does not provide an independent test or a specific comparative S Pen result. Spigen product listing | Consider it if you prefer a glass protector and value the listed guided-alignment aid. Its page does not claim the same reflection-reduction feature Samsung advertises for its film. |
Which should you choose?
Choose Samsung’s film if reflections are the deciding issue
Samsung explicitly markets this film as anti-reflecting. That makes it the clearer fit when your main selection criterion is the manufacturer-stated reflection-reduction feature. The reviewed Spigen listing does not make an equivalent glare-reduction claim, but that does not establish how the two products compare in a direct test.
Choose Spigen’s glass if you prefer a glass option with guided installation
Spigen calls its product tempered glass and lists an auto-alignment tray. Samsung’s film package also includes application aids, so the listings show different installation tools rather than a controlled comparison proving that one is easier to apply.

The product pages do not provide independent head-to-head testing. They therefore do not establish that tempered glass or film is better overall for impact protection, scratch resistance, clarity, smoothness, or useful life. Samsung says its film preserves touch and S Pen performance; Spigen says its glass remains touch-responsive. Those statements are manufacturer claims, and the Spigen page does not make a specific comparative S Pen claim. Choose based on the features each maker actually lists rather than assuming a material-wide performance result.

Check model fit and availability before buying
Both manufacturers name the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra in their product listings. Samsung’s film listing also names the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra, but check the exact tablet model and the local product page before purchase. The Samsung page reviewed is regional and displayed “Not for sale”; that status should not be treated as a worldwide availability statement. Spigen’s page displayed $49.99 at the time it was accessed; price and stock can change, so verify the current listing in your market.
Samsung announced the Galaxy Tab S12 series on September 30, 2026, and lists the Ultra’s display as 14.6 inches. That is tablet context, not evidence of protector performance. Samsung Mobile Press announcement.
