The base TECNO CAMON 40 Pro is a 4G phone, while the POVA Curve is a 5G model. The POVA Curve adds 5G, a 144 Hz display and a larger listed battery; the CAMON 40 Pro has a 50 MP autofocus selfie camera and an 8 MP rear wide-angle camera. These are manufacturer specifications, not evidence that one phone takes better photos or lasts longer in testing.
Which versions are being compared?
This comparison is between the standard TECNO CAMON 40 Pro (4G) and the TECNO POVA Curve 5G. TECNO also sells a separately specified CAMON 40 Pro 5G. The two CAMON versions differ in network support, processor and display refresh rate, so check the model name carefully before comparing listings.
How do the CAMON 40 Pro and POVA Curve 5G specs compare?
| Specification | CAMON 40 Pro (4G) | POVA Curve 5G |
|---|---|---|
| Network and processor | 4G; MediaTek Helio G100 Ultimate | 5G; MediaTek Dimensity 7300 |
| Display | 6.78-inch AMOLED, 120 Hz, 1080 × 2436 | 6.78-inch curved AMOLED, 144 Hz; TECNO describes the resolution as 1080P |
| Rear cameras | 50 MP main camera with OIS, plus 8 MP wide-angle camera | 64 MP main camera listed |
| Front camera | 50 MP with autofocus | 13 MP |
| Battery and charging | 5,200 mAh; 45 W | 5,500 mAh; 45 W |
| Storage and memory | 256 GB storage; 16 GB RAM figure includes 8 GB physical RAM plus 8 GB extended memory | 256 GB storage; 8 GB standard RAM, with extended-memory options described up to 16 GB |
These figures come from TECNO’s product and specification pages. Megapixel counts and camera features do not establish which phone produces better images; that would require comparable camera testing. Battery capacity likewise does not establish measured battery life. Both models list 45 W charging, so their stated charging wattage does not show that one charges faster.

Network and processor
The POVA Curve is the 5G choice in this comparison. The base CAMON 40 Pro is specified for 4G and uses a Helio G100 Ultimate, while the POVA Curve lists a Dimensity 7300. The chipset names alone do not provide a controlled performance comparison.

Display
Both screens are listed at 6.78 inches. TECNO specifies 120 Hz for the CAMON 40 Pro and 144 Hz for the POVA Curve, with the latter also described as curved. A higher refresh-rate specification means the display can refresh more frequently; it is not a standalone measure of overall phone speed.
Cameras
The CAMON 40 Pro has the more fully specified camera configuration in these listings: its rear setup includes OIS on the 50 MP main camera and an 8 MP wide-angle camera, and its 50 MP front camera has autofocus. The POVA Curve page lists a 64 MP main rear camera and a 13 MP front camera. These differences describe hardware, not a tested image-quality winner.

What if you meant the CAMON 40 Pro 5G?
The CAMON 40 Pro 5G is a separate model, not another name for the 4G phone in the main table. TECNO specifies 5G and a Dimensity 7300-family processor for it, along with a 144 Hz display, 5,200 mAh battery and 45 W charging. Its listed rear cameras are a 50 MP OIS main camera and an 8 MP wide-angle camera; the front camera is 50 MP with autofocus.

- Wonderful Design - USTIYA designed Case for Tecno CAMON 40 Pro 4G allows you to perfectly display the appearance of the cell phone, allowing you to appreciate its beauty and design. It shows the original color of the phone.
- The four corners are specially reinforced with a unique cushioning design: they effectively absorb shock and provide extra protection for your phone against abrasions, scratches and drops from everyday use.
- DIY Customization: Due to the special material of Tecno CAMON 40 Pro 4G transparent phone case, you can stick your favorite photos, patterns, etc. on the back of the phone to personalize it and reflect your style and personality.
- It uses environmental protection materials, which have no negative impact on human health and environment. Protruding edges and camera edge can protect the screen and camera, giving you more protection forTecno CAMON 40 Pro 4G.
- Its interior design with microdots avoids the wet and sticky look common in a transparent case, helping to maintain the beautiful design for Tecno CAMON 40 Pro 4G
That makes the network, processor family and refresh-rate distinction much less pronounced against the POVA Curve 5G. The stated battery capacities still differ—5,200 mAh for CAMON 40 Pro 5G and 5,500 mAh for POVA Curve—and their listed rear-camera configurations and front-camera specifications are different. These specifications alone do not settle camera quality or battery life.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. Is there a reliable current price difference?
A current, like-for-like price gap cannot be verified from the available listing information. A 91mobiles comparison result reported ₹15,999 for the POVA Curve 5G and marked it out of stock; it also labeled the CAMON 40 Pro “Not Released in India.” That third-party result does not establish a current sale price or a comparable price for two available phones.
