Which Switchboard Live plan includes 24/7 streaming?
Of the three tiers shown on Switchboard Live’s pricing page, Enterprise is the only one that explicitly lists “24/7 Streams.” That identifies the tier to ask about for continuous streaming; it does not establish that every destination, archive, or YouTube configuration is included automatically. Confirm the exact setup and any limits with Switchboard.

For a useful quote, give sales the number of seats, whether you want monthly or annual billing, how many inputs you need, your archive requirements, the destinations and workflow you intend to run, and whether you need an add-on. Compare quotes using the same seat count, billing term, and requirements. The Public Sector page also directs prospective buyers to contact Switchboard for tailored pricing.
What to confirm about a continuous YouTube workflow
Destination limits
The plan comparison describes destination allowances as unlimited, but Switchboard’s FAQ says a workflow can have up to 30 destinations. Treat that per-workflow limit as distinct from the plan’s stated allowance and confirm how it applies to your configuration.

Archives and concluded videos
The pricing comparison lists a 30-day archive for Public Sector and 30+ days for Enterprise. Switchboard’s FAQ also says the platform does not itself store or archive concluded videos. Ask what the displayed archive feature covers, how it applies to your intended setup, and what happens to recordings after a stream concludes.
Inputs and protocol
The displayed tiers differ in the number of inputs and whether SRT is included: SMB lists one RTMP input; Public Sector lists one RTMP or SRT input; Enterprise lists three RTMP or SRT inputs. Switchboard’s FAQ says its platform currently supports RTMP ingest. Verify the input protocol and count needed for your encoder and workflow with sales.

What you need to get started
Switchboard identifies a live streaming encoder, destination accounts, and a steady internet connection as setup requirements. Its examples of streaming software or encoders include OBS, Switcher Studio, Ecamm Live, vMix, and LiveU; these are examples, not a requirement to use a particular product.
- Prepare your encoder. Choose and configure a streaming encoder that can send the feed to Switchboard. Confirm the required input protocol for the plan and workflow you are evaluating.
- Set up your destination accounts. Make sure you can access the social channels or other destinations you intend to use. For YouTube, confirm that the channel is eligible to livestream.
- Check YouTube eligibility and timing. YouTube requires a verified channel with no live-streaming restrictions in the preceding 90 days. Enabling live streaming can take up to 24 hours, so allow time before a scheduled launch. These are YouTube requirements, separate from Switchboard’s plan terms.
- Maintain a steady connection. The encoder’s internet connection is part of the setup. Plan for a dependable connection appropriate to the ongoing stream.
- Confirm plan fit and quote. Ask Switchboard to verify the destination, archive, input, seat, and billing details for your particular continuous-stream workflow before subscribing.
Is there a free way to run 24/7 streams on Switchboard?
Switchboard’s trial page describes 99 broadcast minutes for the Indie and Pro plans. That is a short evaluation allowance, not an ongoing free option for 24/7 streaming. Its FAQ says there is no free tier or non-profit subscription. Check the current trial terms to confirm availability for your account and plan.
