Stripe plans to add 200 jobs at its Dublin headquarters, with the announced roles spanning engineering and go-to-market. The announcement does not say that all 200 positions are already listed as vacancies, and it gives no job titles, salaries or application details.

What jobs is Stripe creating in Dublin?

IDA Ireland’s 2 October 2026 announcement identifies two broad areas: engineering and go-to-market. It does not break the planned hiring down by specific team, product, seniority or job title. “Go-to-market” generally refers to work supporting how a company brings its products to customers, but the announcement does not define the particular functions Stripe will hire for.

The 200 figure is a plan for additional jobs, not a count of current vacancies or completed hires. The announcement does not provide an application URL, salary ranges, work arrangements or a hiring deadline, so those details should be checked in any current Stripe vacancy listing.

How many people does Stripe employ in Ireland?

IDA Ireland said Stripe employed more than 1,000 people across Ireland as of its 2 October 2026 announcement, and that the Ireland-wide workforce had grown by more than 35% since the beginning of 2026. These figures cover Ireland, not Dublin alone; the release does not give a separate headcount for the headquarters.

Why is the Dublin headquarters significant?

Stripe opened its One Wilton Park headquarters in Dublin in October 2025. The company described it as one of its two global headquarters, alongside San Francisco. The office measures 14,500 square metres and tripled Stripe’s previous Dublin office footprint, according to the company’s 9 October 2025 announcement.

IDA Ireland describes Ireland as a hub for Stripe’s Europe, Middle East and Africa operations and for developing products used globally, including payments, Stripe Tax and fraud-detection tools. That context helps explain the Dublin location, but it does not establish which of those areas will receive the 200 planned hires.

How many Irish businesses use Stripe?

IDA Ireland’s October 2026 release says Stripe serves 86,000 businesses and solopreneurs in Ireland. In its October 2025 headquarters announcement, Stripe gave a figure of 70,000. These are figures from separate announcements at different dates, not same-date measurements.
