Stream.Security announced on October 22, 2024, that it had closed a $30 million Series B led by U.S. Venture Partners. Citi Ventures joined the round alongside four existing investors, and the company said the financing brought its total investment to $55 million.

Who invested in Stream.Security’s Series B?

The company’s October 22, 2024 announcement names U.S. Venture Partners as the lead investor and Citi Ventures as a new investor. Existing investors Energy Impact Partners, Cervin Ventures, TLV Partners, and Glilot Capital Partners VC also participated. Stream.Security’s Series B announcement said the round brought total investment to $55 million.

What does Stream.Security do?

Stream.Security sells cloud security software. Its product, CloudTwin, is described by the company as a dynamic, real-time model of cloud infrastructure, configurations, activity, and user behavior. The company says security operations teams can use this context to trace attack paths and potential blast radius, identify threats and exposures, support investigations, and prioritize remediation. These are the vendor’s product claims, not independently verified performance findings.

Stream.Security’s current focus follows a company evolution: a March 2022 release described the business as Lightlytics, a cloud operations platform for safer infrastructure configuration changes; in November 2023, the company announced its expansion into cloud security under the Stream.Security name. The 2023 announcement described its real-time Cloud Twin approach, while the 2022 release provides the earlier Lightlytics context.

How does Stream.Security plan to use the funding?

In its October 2024 announcement, Stream.Security said it intended to direct the new capital toward CloudTwin research and development, broader go-to-market efforts and global reach, and expanded customer success and support. Those were stated plans at the time of the announcement; the release does not establish how much was allocated to each area or whether each plan was later completed. The company’s funding post also identifies CEO Or Shoshani and provides its product framing.

What growth and customer results did the company report?

Stream.Security’s October 2024 post reported more than 400% growth and dozens of global enterprise customers. It also attributed a 75% reduction in SOC, SecOps, and DevOps labor costs and 35% faster onboarding and training to customer impact. The post does not independently audit these figures or provide enough detail here to treat them as generally representative results; they should be read as company-reported claims.

The announcement includes a testimonial from Petr Zuzanov, identified by Stream.Security as a SecOps architect at RingCentral. He said the platform helped provide insight into attack paths and blast radius. Because this testimonial was published by the vendor, it is customer commentary presented by Stream.Security rather than an independent product evaluation.

What the funding announcement does—and does not—establish

The announcement establishes the round’s reported size, lead investor, participating investors, and intended investment areas. It also records how Stream.Security positions CloudTwin and the company’s own reported growth and customer outcomes. It does not provide a neutral comparison with other cloud detection and response products, independent validation of the performance claims, or evidence that the planned spending had already produced results.

For an organization evaluating cloud security tools, the useful questions extend beyond this financing: whether a product keeps cloud context continuously updated, how it identifies attack paths and exposures, how it fits existing SOC or SIEM workflows, what deployment and data access it requires, and whether its response or cost outcomes have independent support.
