1. Install SteamOS updates and restart
- Open Steam > Settings > System > Software Updates and install any available updates.
- Restart from Steam > Power > Restart.

2. Close or disable third-party applications
If the crashes continue, exit or disable third-party applications installed through Desktop Mode, then restart the Deck. Steam recommends this step for instability in Steam applications. If you use such applications, test the game after closing them so you can tell whether the change affects the symptom.
3. Review the game’s compatibility details
Check Super Volley Blast’s compatibility status and details in your Library or on its Steam store page. Treat the Verified status as context rather than a diagnosis: it does not identify the reason for an individual crash or guarantee that a particular setup is trouble-free.

4. Try the latest Proton version for this game
- In your Library, highlight Super Volley Blast and open its menu.

- Enable Force the use of a specific Steam Play compatibility tool, then select the latest Proton version offered.
- Launch the game and see whether the crash still occurs.
Proton is Valve’s compatibility layer for running Windows games on Linux. Changing this setting is a troubleshooting check, not a proven fix for this game. 5. Lower graphics settings only for performance instability
If the symptom is poor performance or instability under graphics load, try a lower graphics preset or reduce individual settings. Steam includes this as performance guidance; there is no evidence that changing graphics settings specifically fixes Super Volley Blast crashes.
