The stocks in focus on October 7, 2026, span quarterly results, an operating update, a CFO resignation, a Pune project launch and a UK contract extension. Moneycontrol News reported higher year-on-year profit and revenue at Arcil, Kanohar Electricals and Karamtara Engineering; Glass Wall Systems reported higher revenue but lower profit. Titan’s update concerns business growth and store additions—not share returns.

Quarterly results: profit and revenue tell different stories

Moneycontrol News’ October 7 roundup reported Q1 comparisons for four companies. The figures below are as reported; the roundup does not specify the quarter’s fiscal-year label in the information available here.

Company Profit comparison Revenue comparison What the figures show
Arcil (Asset Reconstruction Company (India) Limited) ₹59.1 crore vs ₹51.5 crore ₹234.7 crore vs ₹109 crore Both reported measures increased year on year.
Glass Wall Systems India ₹17.3 crore vs ₹18.7 crore ₹107.4 crore vs ₹79.1 crore Revenue increased while profit declined.
Kanohar Electricals ₹27.3 crore vs ₹11.4 crore ₹137.1 crore vs ₹67.4 crore Both reported measures increased year on year.
Karamtara Engineering ₹87.4 crore vs ₹60.1 crore ₹1,580.9 crore vs ₹917.6 crore Both consolidated measures increased year on year.

Each pair compares the reported Q1 figure with the corresponding year-ago figure, as stated by Moneycontrol News. These comparisons do not establish why the figures changed or how the market will respond. The roundup does not provide margins, company guidance, or fuller asset-quality context for Arcil, so the figures alone are not a complete assessment of its performance.

Arcil

Arcil’s reported profit rose from ₹51.5 crore to ₹59.1 crore, while revenue increased from ₹109 crore to ₹234.7 crore year on year. The roundup gives no additional detail here on margins, guidance or asset quality.

Glass Wall Systems India

The result is mixed: revenue rose from ₹79.1 crore to ₹107.4 crore, but profit fell from ₹18.7 crore to ₹17.3 crore. Describing this as unqualified earnings growth would miss the decline in profit.

Kanohar Electricals

Profit increased from ₹11.4 crore to ₹27.3 crore, and revenue from ₹67.4 crore to ₹137.1 crore, according to the roundup. A same-day ScanX article also reported a ₹250 crore order for a 400kV transformer and an outstanding order book of ₹2,026 crore; those details are secondary reporting and are not independently confirmed here against a company or exchange announcement.

Titan: operating growth and store additions

Titan’s Q2 operating update, as reported by Moneycontrol News, listed growth across several businesses. These are operating metrics, not the company’s share-price performance or total shareholder return.

Metric Reported growth or count
Domestic business 22% growth
International business 97% growth
Consumer business 25% growth
Watches 30% growth
Eye care 28% growth
Emerging businesses 21% growth
Jewellery 21% growth
Stores 77 domestic and one international store added; 3,758 total as of September 2026

The roundup does not provide a corresponding share-market return alongside these operating figures. The different business categories should also be read as the company reported them, rather than treated as directly comparable financial results.

Corporate announcements: resignation, project launch and contract extension

Apollo Tyres: CFO resignation

Moneycontrol News reported that CFO Gaurav Kumar resigned effective October 6, 2026, saying he wished to pursue personal and professional challenges outside the organisation. No other reason for the resignation is established by the reported statement.

Mahindra Lifespace Developers: Pune residential launch

The company launched Mahindra Rivenza, a residential development in Baner Annex, Pune. The roundup put its approximate gross development value (GDV) at ₹3,500 crore. GDV is a stated development-value estimate, not revenue already earned. ScanX additionally reported 1,236 units and MahaRERA registration, but those details are secondary and have not been independently checked against primary records here.

Mphasis: Social Security Scotland agreement

Mphasis extended its agreement with Social Security Scotland, valued at £35.4 million according to Moneycontrol News. The company will manage and maintain a benefits-management platform that the roundup says serves around 2 million citizens. The roundup does not state the contract period, so its duration should not be inferred from the value or the word “extension.”

How to read this list

  • Separate earnings from other catalysts. Four entries concern quarterly financial comparisons; Titan’s update concerns operating activity, while the remaining items concern a resignation, a project launch and a contract extension.
  • Do not equate growth with a likely share move. The reported figures describe business results or activity; they do not predict a stock’s performance during the October 7 session.
  • Keep the comparisons in context. The companies operate in different businesses, and their raw growth rates are not directly comparable measures of performance.
  • Check primary disclosures for confirmation. The figures and announcements above are attributed to the Moneycontrol News roundup unless a secondary source is explicitly identified. No company filings or releases were independently reviewed for this article.

The October 7 session reference is time-specific: this is a roundup of developments reported for that trading day, not a continuing forecast or investment recommendation.
