The Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 is a premium-tier mobile platform with a 1+4+3 CPU design, a maximum prime-core clock of 3.0 GHz, and support for LPDDR5x memory and UFS 4.0 storage. Its benchmark scores vary by phone and test setup: Beebom recorded 1,523,930 in AnTuTu on a Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro in 2024, while Notebookcheck’s 2026-retrieved device database lists AnTuTu v10 results from 1,142,940 to 1,553,060. These figures describe tested phones, not a guaranteed score for every device with the chip.

Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 specifications

Qualcomm identifies the platform as SM8635 and describes it as built on 4 nm process technology. Its CPU combines one prime core, four performance cores, and three efficiency cores. What is the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 AnTuTu score?

There is no single score that applies to every Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 phone. AnTuTu measures a phone’s combined CPU, GPU, memory, and user-experience performance, so the result reflects the handset and test conditions as well as the platform.

Beebom’s Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro test

In a 2024 test of the Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro, the first Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 phone Beebom said it had access to at the time, Beebom reported an AnTuTu total of 1,523,930. Its component scores were CPU 391,196, GPU 520,531, memory 344,714, and UX 267,489. Those numbers belong to that phone and test, not to all devices using the chip.

Notebookcheck’s multi-device results

Notebookcheck’s database, retrieved in 2026, lists AnTuTu v10 totals from 1,142,940 to 1,553,060 across device submissions. This is a spread of results rather than a controlled comparison: the database figures cover multiple phones and do not establish one standardized score for the platform. Beebom’s 2024 total and Notebookcheck’s AnTuTu v10 range should not be treated as a direct head-to-head measurement because the available information does not establish identical test conditions or versions.

Geekbench and CPU throttling results

Geekbench results

On its Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro test phone, Beebom reported Geekbench 6 GPU scores of 8,838 using OpenCL and 10,154 using Vulkan. These are GPU results from a particular phone and setup. Separately, Notebookcheck’s database lists Geekbench 6.7 multi-core CPU results from 4,602 to 5,284 points across device submissions retrieved in 2026. The Beebom GPU figures and Notebookcheck CPU range measure different workloads and versions, so they are not directly comparable.

What the throttling test says

In a 15-minute CPU throttling test on the Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro, Beebom reported that the phone retained 94% of its maximum performance. Beebom also said the phone became hot, which the authors attributed as likely related to its cooling system. This single phone-specific run cannot predict sustained performance in another handset or in a game with a different workload.

  • Test and version: AnTuTu, Geekbench, and other benchmark versions are not interchangeable.
  • Workload: A CPU multi-core score, GPU API test, mixed AnTuTu total, and sustained game session answer different questions.
  • Phone configuration: Memory and storage configurations vary by model, even when the platform supports particular maximums.
  • Software and cooling: Firmware, thermal design, temperature, and test duration affect results and sustained behavior.

Qualcomm’s listed graphics APIs and hardware-accelerated ray tracing establish feature support; they do not by themselves establish frame rates or long-session gaming performance. A benchmark score is useful for comparing like with like, but it is not a promise of a particular gaming experience.

Platform capabilities versus a phone’s actual features

Qualcomm lists Wi-Fi 7, peak 5G download speeds up to 6.5 Gbps, and a QHD+ on-device display mode up to 144 Hz. These are platform-level capabilities, not assurances that every phone supports them. The modem’s real-world network performance depends on the carrier and network, while the manufacturer determines which supported display, wireless, memory, and other capabilities appear in a particular model.

Qualcomm announced the platform on March 18, 2024. In the launch release, William Lu, then identified as a Partner and President of Xiaomi Corporation, said Xiaomi would introduce the first device powered by the platform. The announcement describes the launch context, rather than providing independent performance measurements: Qualcomm’s March 18, 2024 launch announcement.
