The Dimensity 7025 family has higher stated performance-core clocks than the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2, and one benchmark aggregator reports higher scores for the base Dimensity 7025. But that comparison does not test the Ultra-branded chip specifically, so the available figures do not establish a clean benchmark winner between Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 and Dimensity 7025 Ultra. For a phone purchase, compare the exact handsets as well as their chip specifications.
What the comparison can—and cannot—show
There are two related but distinct comparisons here. MediaTek’s official specifications describe the Dimensity 7025, while 91mobiles lists specifications and results for the Dimensity 7025 Ultra. NanoReview’s direct comparison is between Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 and the base Dimensity 7025, not the Ultra. The Ultra-specific results come from a separate publisher and device pool, so they should not be treated as a controlled head-to-head against NanoReview’s Snapdragon scores.
The specifications below identify the named source and variant where the distinction matters. A chip’s platform capabilities also do not guarantee that a phone maker uses every supported feature in a particular handset.

The Dimensity 7025’s listed peak performance-core clock is 0.2 GHz higher than the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2’s. That specification alone cannot predict sustained speed: cooling, power limits, software, and the phone’s implementation affect how a chip performs in use. Likewise, a process-node label by itself does not determine a handset’s battery life.

- Snapdragon 4 Gen 2: Qualcomm’s brief identifies the X61 5G modem, sub-6 GHz support, SA/NSA modes, and downlink speeds up to 2.5 Gbps. The brief consulted does not provide a memory configuration to compare here; check the exact phone’s specification.
- Dimensity 7025: MediaTek lists LPDDR5 or LPDDR4X memory, multi-mode 2G–5G connectivity, 5G carrier aggregation, and dual 5G SIM SA support.
These are platform-level capabilities, not promises about every retail device. Phone makers select the memory configuration, connectivity features, display, and other components for each model and market. Qualcomm cautions that results vary with OEM implementation and other factors; it also says battery life varies significantly with device, settings, usage, and other factors.
Benchmark results—and why the pools should stay separate
NanoReview’s live comparison page reports aggregate results for Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 versus the base Dimensity 7025. The listed sample counts differ by chip and test, so these are aggregated samples rather than results from the same two phones under a matched test procedure.

Within that NanoReview comparison, the base Dimensity 7025 has the higher reported aggregate score in each of the listed tests. The figures are not measurements of the Dimensity 7025 Ultra.
Separately, 91mobiles reports 486,435 in AnTuTu and Geekbench scores of 950 single-core and 2,276 multi-core for the Dimensity 7025 Ultra. 91mobiles describes its figures as results from real-world testing of devices using the chip and says 486,435 is the highest AnTuTu result it has recorded for a device running it. That is not a matched test against the NanoReview Snapdragon sample, and the different source, device pool, and test conditions prevent a direct ranking of those Ultra results against NanoReview’s scores.

What the results mean when choosing a phone
The available evidence supports a limited conclusion: the base Dimensity 7025 has higher aggregate scores than Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 in NanoReview’s reported comparison, and the Dimensity 7025 family has a higher stated peak performance-core clock. It does not establish that the Dimensity 7025 Ultra will outperform Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 in every phone or workload. The sources do not provide a matched gaming test for these exact variants, so they cannot identify a universal gaming winner.
Compare the specific phones you can buy in your region. Check memory capacity and type, cooling, battery capacity and observed endurance, display quality, software support, price, and compatibility with your local mobile networks. One example listed by 91mobiles as using the Dimensity 7025 Ultra is the POCO M7 Pro 5G; confirm the regional model and current availability before relying on that listing.
