Silver Palace’s combat runs on a short decision loop: read the enemy’s attack, choose to parry or dodge, fill the enemy’s Stun gauge, then use the stagger window for an Execution while rotating party members. The official side of that loop is limited. Elementa’s announcement of May 13, 2025 confirms real-time character switching and chained skills and QTE combos, but the detailed parry, Stun, Execution, and resource rules come from guides written during the pre-release test phase. Treat those specifics as reported test-build behavior rather than settled release facts.
What is confirmed and what is reported
Separating the two layers matters before you apply any of the details below.
- Official material: Elementa’s announcement of May 13, 2025 describes Silver Palace as a fantasy action RPG built on Unreal Engine 5, set in Silvernia, with the player cast as a Detective. It also confirms real-time character switching and chained skills with QTE combos.
- Test-era guides: The Silver Palace combat guide on Meta, the BlueStacks combat overview, and the Meta boss guide describe parry, dodge, Stun, Execution, stamina, Silverdrip, Reactor Energy, and Tactical Assaults. These guides were written during testing, and the boss guide warns that movesets and values may change.
Where this article gives a button, timing, meter, or damage detail, it is coming from that second layer. We did not find a published official mechanics manual, numerical parry window, Stun value, stamina cost, or damage figure to check it against.
The combat loop in order
The guides describe the same sequence in every fight, even though the exact inputs are not confirmed:
#1 Best Overall
- Get rid of the Werewolves in your Village faster than your opponents
- Every card has a special power
- Claim the silver amulet and get a bonus the following round
- The first in a series of silver games - mix and match more decks The second deck: silver bullet coming later in 2019
- Watch the enemy’s wind-up and identify whether the attack can be parried.
- Parry the parryable attack, or dodge an attack that cannot be parried or when you need to reposition.
- Build the enemy’s Stun gauge through attacks and successful parries.
- When the gauge empties, the enemy becomes vulnerable and an Execution opens.
- Switch to a teammate to keep pressure on and trigger follow-ups through chained skills.
Parry and dodge have different jobs
Parry and dodge are not interchangeable. The combat guide presents parry as the response to attacks that can be deflected, and the one that also feeds Stun. Dodge is the answer to attacks that cannot be parried and to moments when you need to move out of position. The table compares the two on the axes the guides use.
| Option | What it answers | What it contributes | Resource pressure |
|---|---|---|---|
| Parry | Attacks the guide describes as parryable | Deflects the hit and builds the enemy’s Stun gauge | Stamina is part of the loop in the beta-oriented guide, but the per-parry cost is not stated |
| Dodge | Attacks that cannot be parried, and repositioning | Avoidance and movement; does not build Stun according to the guide | Stamina is part of the loop in the beta-oriented guide, but the per-dodge cost is not stated |
The practical coaching point from the guides is to learn each enemy’s wind-up instead of pressing one button defensively. Tell colors and exact timing windows were not established in the sources, so do not assume them.

Building Stun
Stun is the bridge between defense and offense. According to the Meta combat guide, both attacks and parries contribute to an enemy’s Stun gauge, and emptying it produces a stagger in which the enemy is vulnerable. The guide does not publish how much each action adds or how quickly the gauge refills, so the useful habit is to keep attacking and parrying the same enemy rather than resetting pressure between hits.

Executions
An Execution is the payoff for a staggered enemy. The Meta guide says it becomes available once the Stun gauge is depleted and links it to a party-wide benefit and to a resource chain involving Silverdrip, Reactor Energy, and Tactical Assault. These names and effects come only from test-era reporting. Confirm the exact labels and results in the current game before building a routine around them.

Switching and team pressure
Team play is the most clearly documented part of the system. Elementa confirms real-time character switching and chained skills with QTE combos. The test-era guides add that Tactical Assaults and shared resources are part of the team loop.
The design implication is that you should rotate characters to keep an enemy staggered and to set up follow-ups, rather than staying with one character until its skills are exhausted. Precise triggers, meter requirements, and which character can start which combo are not confirmed by the official announcement.

How stamina fits in
The beta-oriented guide describes Dichotomy combat as involving stamina management alongside dodging, parrying, and Stun buildup. In practice, this means defensive actions compete for the same pool and you should not spam them. The guide does not give stamina costs, regeneration rates, or thresholds, so treat stamina as a planning constraint rather than a number to optimize.
Practice and accessibility options
The Meta combat guide reports a Casual Mode and assistance features in its Combat Edition material. We could not confirm these against an official feature page, and the names and availability may differ from the test version. Check the in-game settings menu for the current options before relying on any of them.

Checking the mechanics against your build
Because the detailed mechanics come from test-era reporting, verify them before you rely on them:
- Open the game’s control and combat help screens and compare the parry, dodge, and Execution prompts with the guide.
- Check the Elementa official channels for patch notes or a mechanics update after May 13, 2025.
- If a value in a guide differs from what you see in play, trust the game and treat the guide as dated.
The core loop of parry or dodge, build Stun, take the Execution, and switch to keep pressure is the most consistent description across the sources. The labels and numbers around it are the parts most likely to have changed.
