If you need the gold now, sell cranberries raw; if you can wait, process them. Based on the Stardew Valley Wiki’s listed base prices, jelly sells for 200g per cranberry and wine for 225g per cranberry, compared with 75g for a raw berry. Jelly finishes sooner, while wine pays 25g more per berry but keeps a Keg occupied longer. The best choice depends on your machines, harvest size, and how soon you want the money.
What is each cranberry option worth?
The Stardew Valley Wiki lists these base sale values. They are not adjusted for crop quality or profession bonuses.

Which should you choose?
Sell raw cranberries when immediate cash matters
Raw berries provide 75g each without tying up a machine or waiting for processing. This is a sensible option when you need proceeds right away, have more berries than processing capacity, or would rather use your jars and Kegs for other crops.

Make jelly when you want a quicker machine return
A Preserves Jar turns one cranberry into jelly listed at 200g and takes about two to three days. That is 125g more than selling the berry raw. Jars are a practical choice when you want improved value without holding the crop for a full week.
Make wine when maximum listed value per berry is the priority
A Keg turns one cranberry into wine listed at 225g, 25g more than jelly and 150g more than selling the berry raw. The trade-off is time: wine takes seven days. If Keg capacity is limited or you need the money sooner, the higher per-item price may not be worth the wait.
Consider dried fruit by input, not output price
The wiki lists dried cranberries at 587g, but one output consumes five cranberries. That works out to 117.4g per input berry before applicable bonuses—more than the raw price, but below the listed per-berry value of jelly or wine.

How to decide based on your harvest and machines
- Set your timing. If you need gold immediately, sell the berries raw. If you can wait, compare the processing options.
- Check available capacity. Count how many berries you can put into jars or Kegs, and consider what else those machines could process.
- Choose by priority. Favor jars for a shorter processing cycle, Kegs for the highest listed sale price per cranberry among these options, or drying if that fits your available setup.
- Account for your actual sale price. The figures here are base values; crop quality and applicable professions can change receipts.
There is no universal winner: the highest listed price per berry is not automatically the best use of limited machine time. If you have more cranberries than processors, selling some raw and processing the rest is a straightforward way to get immediate proceeds while still adding value to part of the harvest.

Why cranberries can create a processing backlog
Cranberries take seven days to mature and then regrow every five days, according to the Stardew Valley Wiki. A recurring harvest can therefore outpace a small number of machines. Plan around your actual jar and Keg capacity rather than assuming every berry can be processed before the next harvest arrives.
