Which character from an earlier Grand Theft Auto game would you like to see make a cameo in GTA 6—and what would make their appearance worthwhile? Name your pick and the kind of cameo you imagine: a quick visit, a mission role, or even a radio or media reference.
Who would you bring back?
GTA 6 centers on Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos, whose story unfolds in Vice City and the wider state of Leonida. Rockstar’s official character biographies describe Jason as someone whose easy life keeps getting harder, while Lucia is chasing the good life her mother dreamed of back in Liberty City. Those details leave plenty of room for fans to imagine how a familiar face might fit—but they do not confirm that any past character will appear.

What is confirmed about returning characters?
Rockstar’s official GTA 6 and character pages identify Jason and Lucia and describe the setting, but the reviewed official materials do not confirm a cameo by any earlier GTA character. Treat every legacy-character pick here as a wish or theory unless Rockstar announces otherwise. The game is announced for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, with a release date of November 19, 2026, according to Take-Two’s June 24, 2026 release.
