To use the AdminBolt VPS template, select AlmaLinux 9 64bit with AdminBolt in the VPS operating-system settings, then open the VPS Web Console and run bolt-cli admin-sso-generate. Use the generated link to sign in and change the default admin password. The AdminBolt license is separate from the VPS plan.

What the AdminBolt VPS template installs

The template is a preconfigured AlmaLinux 9 64-bit VPS image with AdminBolt already installed. Choose it when you want a server-management control panel rather than a clean operating system or an application/container environment. The control-panel license must be purchased separately from AdminBolt; it is not included with the VPS plan. See the official VPS template guide and AdminBolt product information for current details.

Menu names and template availability can change. The steps below follow the documented hPanel workflow.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Install the template in hPanel

  1. Sign in to hPanel and open VPS.
  2. Select the VPS you want to configure.
  3. Under OS & Panel, open Operating System, then choose Applications.
  4. Select AlmaLinux 9 64bit with AdminBolt and click Change OS.
  5. Proceed only after backing up and downloading any data you need to keep.

Important: Changing or reinstalling the VPS template permanently deletes the VPS data. Do not confirm the change until you have saved everything you need elsewhere. The VPS operating-system documentation describes the template-selection process and its data-loss warning.

Generate the first AdminBolt login link

  1. After the template is deployed, open the server’s VPS dashboard and click Web Console.
  2. In the browser terminal, run this command exactly:
    bolt-cli admin-sso-generate
  3. Copy the unique URL printed in the terminal and open it in a browser to reach AdminBolt.
  4. At the first login, set a strong, unique password for the default admin user. This password change is required.

Product information also describes access at https://your-vps-ip:8443. For the documented initial sign-in, use the generated SSO URL first rather than treating the IP-and-port address as a substitute for generating that link.

What you can manage in AdminBolt

AdminBolt capabilities include creating hosting accounts; managing domains, DNS records, SSL certificates, databases, and reseller accounts; and viewing server metrics and system-performance information. These are vendor-described features, not independent test results. For configuration details beyond the initial setup, consult AdminBolt’s official documentation.
