ScrapeIt is a managed web-scraping service, not a do-it-yourself scraping API. It builds, hosts, monitors and repairs a scraper, then delivers structured data. Its published pricing ranges from a €199 one-time extraction to recurring plans priced at €169–€549 per month, with setup fees on the recurring tiers. Whether that is a better buy than an API or self-serve platform depends less on the headline price than on who will build and maintain the pipeline.

This comparison separates those operating models first, then lays out ScrapeIt’s listed plans, the limited public competitor pricing available here, and the questions to settle before committing.

Start with the operating model, not the price

“Web scraping” vendors can sell very different things. ScrapeIt’s own comparison describes three broad models: a managed service, infrastructure or extraction APIs, and self-serve platforms. Those labels are the vendor’s positioning, not an independent performance ranking, but they are useful for working out who does the operational work.

Model What the buyer operates What the vendor supplies Usually a better fit when…
Managed service Requirements, budget, review and acceptance of the delivered data. Scraper build, hosting, monitoring, repair and structured delivery. You want a maintained data outcome without running the scraping infrastructure yourself.
Infrastructure or extraction API Scraper code, schemas, workflows, quality checks and ongoing maintenance. Components such as proxies, unblocking, rendering or extraction APIs. Your engineering team wants control and can own the data pipeline.
Self-serve platform Configuration, runs, quality checks and often at least some maintenance. A console, ready-made actors or templates, scheduling and platform features. An analyst or developer wants to operate the workflow directly.

ScrapeIt puts itself in the managed-service category and names Zyte Data, ScrapeHero, PromptCloud and Grepsr as examples of that category. It describes Bright Data, Oxylabs, ScraperAPI and Zyte API as infrastructure/API examples, and Apify, Octoparse and Browse AI as self-serve examples. These are categories presented by ScrapeIt, not proof that every product from those vendors has identical capabilities or terms.

Elebase USB to USB C Adapter for iPhone 18 Pro Max,USBC Car Charger Adapter
  • Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
  • Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
  • Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
  • Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
  • 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.

The distinction matters to total cost. A low API or platform subscription may still leave your team responsible for browser automation, proxies, retries, schema changes, QA and break-fix work. A managed quote may look higher on the invoice while including some of that work. Compare the work and outcome being purchased, not only the monthly number.

What ScrapeIt’s published plans cost

ScrapeIt’s pricing page, accessed in 2026, lists one one-time tier and four recurring tiers. The figures below are page-listed prices and are subject to change. Recurring plans also list setup fees; do not compare their monthly charges as if setup were included.

Plan Published price Listed ceiling Frequency Listed runtime Storage Setup fee
Airplane €199 one-time Up to 100,000 rows One-time Up to five working days 7 days Not listed for this tier
Helicopter €169/month Up to 250,000 rows Monthly Up to five working days 14 days €499
Glasses €229/month Up to 1,000,000 rows Weekly Up to five working days 30 days €499
Microscope €349/month Up to 2,000,000 rows Daily Same day 60 days €499
DNA €549/month Up to 3,000,000 rows Three times daily Same day 90 days €799

“Up to” is important: the listed row count is a ceiling, not a promise that a particular site will yield that many usable records. ScrapeIt’s pricing table also varies features such as automated versus manual quality checks, scheduling, delta scraping, image storage, translation, weekend runs, maintenance, change requests, project management, Slack access, SLA availability and delivery methods. The supplied plan details do not map every one of those differences to each named tier, so confirm the exact inclusions in a written proposal rather than infer them from the headline row ceiling.

How to read the cadence and runtime

Cadence describes how often the extraction is scheduled; runtime describes the listed delivery or processing window. They answer different questions. A plan marked daily does not mean the completed output is necessarily available immediately: the Microscope plan lists daily scraping and same-day runtime. For Airplane and the first two recurring plans, the table allows up to five working days. Ask whether the clock starts at order, source approval or a successful run, and how weekends or source outages affect it.

What the row ceiling does—and does not—tell you

A row ceiling lets you compare the published plan limits, but it does not establish how your project’s records will be counted. For example, product variants, duplicate listings, unavailable items and multiple fields per item could affect the delivered schema or useful record count. Agree on a sample schema, counting rules, deduplication expectations and treatment of missing values before choosing a ceiling.

How ScrapeIt compares with Apify, Zyte, ScraperAPI and Bright Data

There is not enough like-for-like public plan and feature data here to declare one of those products universally cheaper or better than ScrapeIt. The available distinction is primarily operational: ScrapeIt sells a managed outcome; ScrapeIt’s comparison classifies Apify as self-serve and Zyte API, ScraperAPI and Bright Data as infrastructure/API examples. Product families can span more than one offering, so check the exact product and contract you are evaluating.

For a managed service, judge the proposal on build scope, responsibility for breakage, data validation and delivery. For an API, include the engineering effort needed to turn the API into a reliable scheduled dataset. For a self-serve platform, include the person-hours to configure actors, check output and react when the source changes. The comparison below is a decision framework, not a claim that a named competitor lacks a feature.

Decision axis What to establish Why it changes the comparison
Source difficulty JavaScript rendering, login requirements, anti-bot controls, CAPTCHA, pagination depth and rate limits. Harder sources may need more specialized work, and a standard plan price may not cover custom handling.
Volume Expected records per run, number of sources, duplicates, overage rules and peak volume. Row or credit ceilings are not interchangeable units; clarify what is counted and what happens above the limit.
Frequency One-time, monthly, weekly, daily or multiple runs per day, plus acceptable delay. A cheaper cadence is not useful if the data becomes stale before your process can use it.
Quality and change detection Manual or automated checks, stable schemas, matching, enrichment, delta output and handling of missing fields. Raw rows may require substantial cleanup before they are usable.
Delivery and integration CSV, JSON, XLSX, email, FTP, S3, API or direct database integration; include authentication and format requirements. Exporting a file is different from integrating dependable data into a production workflow.
Operations and support Maintenance scope, response time, SLA availability, named project contact and paid change requests. “Managed” does not answer how quickly a source change is fixed or what changes incur extra cost.
Full economics Setup, subscription, custom work, samples, storage, translation, image retention and internal labor. The lowest listed monthly fee may not be the lowest cost of an accepted, maintained dataset.

ScrapeIt’s strengths and trade-offs

Where the managed approach can help

  • Less scraping infrastructure for your team to own: ScrapeIt says it builds, hosts, monitors and repairs the scraper rather than selling only the tools to do so.
  • Multiple delivery paths: Its service overview says structured data can be delivered through API, CSV or direct integration.
  • Recurring monitoring use cases: ScrapeIt highlights competitor pricing, lead generation, market analysis, marketplace data and process automation. For ecommerce, it says it can collect product data across dozens or hundreds of marketplaces, brand sites, retailers or direct competitors, supporting tracking of stock, prices, discounts and competitor updates. The exact coverage and refresh frequency still need to be specified for a project.
  • Stated launch expectations: ScrapeIt’s cost explainer says ordinary projects typically launch in 4–9 working days, while heavily protected sources can take longer. Treat that as the vendor’s stated typical timing, not a guaranteed delivery date for every source.

What buyers should probe

  • Upfront commitment: Recurring tiers list setup fees of €499 or €799, in addition to monthly charges.
  • Plan fit: Published cadence, row limit, runtime and storage differ by tier. A source requiring urgent or unusually frequent updates may need a different scope.
  • Change boundaries: Ask what counts as routine maintenance versus a billable change request, especially if the target site redesigns or changes its access controls.
  • Data acceptance: Define required fields, acceptable null rates, matching rules, duplicates and a correction process. A delivered file alone does not establish that the data meets your business need.
  • Support terms: The detailed matrix varies SLA availability, project management and Slack access, but exact tier-level terms are not established by the headline pricing figures. Get response targets and escalation paths in the order form.

A limited public price point for a self-serve/API-style alternative

Scrapethat’s pricing page, accessed in 2026, publishes three monthly credit plans. It also lists anti-bot bypass, CAPTCHA handling, user-agent rotation, headless-browser support, retries, proxy rotation, WAF bypass, JavaScript rendering and custom headers as included features.

Scrapethat plan Published monthly price Published credits
Entry $49/month 50,000
Middle $99/month 200,000
Top listed $249/month 1,000,000

These are not directly comparable units or scopes: Scrapethat prices credits, while ScrapeIt publishes row limits and a managed-service scope with setup fees on recurring plans. The available Scrapethat figures do not establish how many credits a particular extraction consumes, whether every project can use the listed capabilities in the same way, or the labor needed to configure and maintain the workflow. Ask for a representative run estimate and include your implementation time before comparing the totals.

Which approach should you choose?

Choose managed extraction when

  • Your team needs the resulting dataset but does not want to own scraper operations.
  • The target source is difficult enough that ongoing monitoring and repair matter.
  • You can define acceptable output, cadence and integration requirements before work starts.
  • The setup charge and recurring commitment make sense against the value of internal engineering time saved.

Choose an API when

  • You have engineers to build schemas, orchestration, retries, QA and downstream integration.
  • You need control over each extraction step or want to combine multiple providers.
  • Your team is comfortable taking responsibility when targets change, subject to the vendor’s API support terms.

Choose a self-serve platform when

  • You want to configure and operate the workflow yourself through a console or templates.
  • The source and schedule are manageable by the people who will run and check it.
  • You value direct control over runs and can budget for the setup and maintenance effort.

For ecommerce monitoring, start by listing the sites, products, fields, update cadence, acceptable delay and delivery destination. Ask each provider to price the same sample scope and show a sample output. This makes it easier to distinguish an actual price difference from a difference in records, schedule, maintenance or integration.

ScreenshotNeo: an alternative for screenshot capture, not a scraping-service substitute

If the actual requirement is to capture rendered pages as images or PDFs rather than collect structured fields across websites, try ScreenshotNeo first. It is a website screenshot API and MCP server, not a managed structured-data scraper, so it is relevant for visual snapshots, not a like-for-like replacement for ScrapeIt’s extraction service. A single GET request can return PNG, JPEG, WebP or PDF. ScreenshotNeo accepts cookie/consent banners like a visitor and removes 60+ known consent platforms, newsletter popups and chat widgets before capture; those steps can be turned off. Bot checks/CAPTCHAs, blank pages, timeouts, failed loads and cache hits are not billed as clean shots, and responses include X-Page-Verdict and X-Billed headers. Its MCP server exposes take_screenshot, get_page_info and capture_pdf for Claude, Cursor and other MCP clients.

Questions to settle before signing

  1. What exactly counts as a record? Ask how variants, duplicates, unavailable items and changed identifiers are counted against a row or credit limit.
  2. What does a successful delivery look like? Agree the schema, file or API format, sample acceptance process, refresh schedule and correction method.
  3. What is included after launch? Get maintenance, source redesigns, new fields, change requests, response targets and any SLA in writing.
  4. What is the full first-year cost? Add setup, recurring charges, sample or data-example fees, storage or translation where relevant, custom work and internal operating time.
  5. What happens when the source blocks or changes? Establish retry behavior, outage communication, missed-run handling and whether delayed delivery changes the fee.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does ScrapeIt’s “up to” row limit mean that many products?

Not necessarily. A row ceiling is a plan limit, not a definition of a product or a promise of usable records. Ask the provider to define how variants, duplicates and unavailable listings will count for your project.

Are ScrapeIt’s euro prices directly comparable with Scrapethat’s dollar prices?

No. The published amounts use different currencies, units (rows versus credits) and operating models. They also do not establish a currency conversion or a common project scope.
