The 2026 Samsung M70H is a 4K TV family sold in six US sizes, but its Mini LED name and DLG 120 Hz feature need context: Samsung lists a 60 Hz refresh rate for the 55-inch model, and RTINGS found no local dimming on the 65-inch model it tested. It may suit everyday viewing, but the listed specifications do not make it a native 120 Hz gaming TV.
Which Samsung M70H sizes are available?
Samsung announced six US screen sizes: 43, 50, 55, 65, 75 and 85 inches. Their model numbers are UN43M70HAFXZA, UN50M70HAFXZA, UN55M70HAFXZA, UN65M70HAFXZA, UN75M70HAFXZA and UN85M70HAFXZA. Samsung describes the range as an accessible Mini LED tier for everyday viewing and sports; that is the manufacturer’s positioning, not an independent picture-quality assessment. Samsung Newsroom’s 2026 lineup announcement lists the sizes and describes its intended focus.
Is the M70H a native 120 Hz TV?
Not according to the available 55-inch specification. Samsung lists a 60 Hz refresh rate alongside DLG 120 Hz, and says the HDMI inputs support up to 4K at 60 Hz. Those are distinct claims: DLG 120 Hz should not be read as proof of a native 120 Hz panel or 4K/120 Hz input support. RTINGS likewise characterizes the tested set as having a limited 60 Hz refresh rate. Samsung’s 55-inch specifications provide the manufacturer’s figures; RTINGS’ assessment is based on its tested model.
For a buyer, this makes the M70H a less clear fit for someone specifically seeking high-refresh-rate console or PC gaming. The supplied specifications do not establish VRR or other gaming features, so check the exact size’s current specification sheet if those capabilities are essential.

Does Mini LED mean the M70H has local dimming?
No. Samsung calls the M70H a Mini LED TV, but that label alone does not establish independently controlled local-dimming zones or a particular HDR result. RTINGS reports that its tested 65-inch M70H has no local dimming. The two statements can both be true: Mini LED describes the product’s backlight tier, while local dimming is a separate capability affecting how the backlight is controlled.
RTINGS published its review on June 18, 2026 and modified it July 31, 2026. It tested a 65-inch unit and says its findings apply to the 43-, 55-, 75- and 85-inch versions; the applicability statement does not include the 50-inch model. Do not assume every size has identical performance on the basis of that review. Read RTINGS’ Samsung M70H review for its test scope and findings.

What does the 55-inch model offer for connections and mounting?
Samsung’s 55-inch product page lists 3840 × 2160 resolution, three HDMI ports, eARC, one USB-A port, Ethernet, Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.3. It also lists a 20 W two-channel speaker system and remote model TM2240A. For mounting, Samsung specifies VESA 200 × 200 mm and support for its Full Motion Slim Wall Mount.
These details are specific to the 55-inch model page. Before buying a mount or accessory for another size, confirm that size’s VESA pattern, weight and compatibility; do not assume the 55-inch mounting details transfer across the family.

Who should consider the Samsung M70H?
The M70H may be worth considering if you want a 4K television in one of its six announced sizes and are evaluating it as an everyday TV rather than selecting it for high-refresh gaming or local-dimming performance. The evidence available here does not establish comparable independent brightness, contrast or HDR measurements, nor size-by-size pricing. Compare the exact model and current price against your needs rather than treating the Mini LED label as a picture-quality guarantee.
