The Samsung Galaxy S26 Plus is the better fit if you want a larger screen; the Google Pixel 11 Pro is more compact and lists a longer-reach 5× telephoto camera. In the U.S., AT&T’s listed starting prices put the Samsung $50 below the Pixel, but prices vary by seller and promotions. The right choice depends on screen size, the S26 Plus chipset in your market, camera priorities, and the current like-for-like offer.

These are reported specifications, not matched performance or endurance test results. Software figures describe reported launch versions, not necessarily what is installed after updates. The Samsung corporate report notes that the S26 Plus processor differs by market; Samsung’s regional specifications page is also market-specific, so check the exact regional model before comparing chips.
What is the price difference?
U.S. prices depend on the seller
AT&T lists a U.S. retail starting price of $1,099.99 for the Galaxy S26 Plus and $1,149.99 for the Pixel 11 Pro, a $50 difference in Samsung’s favor on that retailer’s listing, checked in 2026. This is not a universal street-price comparison. TechRadar separately reports a U.S. starting price of $1,099 for the Pixel 11 Pro.

India offer prices are a separate comparison
Gadgets Now lists offer prices of ₹84,999 for the Galaxy S26 Plus and ₹1,19,999 for the Pixel 11 Pro. Which phone has the better screen and handling?
The Galaxy S26 Plus has a 6.7-inch display, compared with 6.3 inches on the Pixel 11 Pro. Choose Samsung if you want more screen area for reading, video, or multitasking. The Pixel’s smaller dimensions make it shorter and narrower: its reported body is 152.7 mm tall and 71.9 mm wide, versus 158.4 mm and 75.8 mm for Samsung.

What should you know about processors and software?
Do not assume every Galaxy S26 Plus uses the same processor. Samsung’s report gives Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 or Exynos 2600 depending on market, while AT&T lists a Snapdragon version. Verify the chip in the specific country and model you are buying before drawing conclusions about speed or efficiency. The Pixel 11 Pro is listed with Google Tensor G6.

The reported launch software is Android 16 with One UI 8.5 for the Samsung and Android 17 for the Pixel. These launch-version details do not establish the phones’ current installed software or a matched update-support comparison.
How do their camera systems differ?
The Pixel’s listed camera hardware has higher megapixel counts on the ultrawide and telephoto cameras, and its telephoto lens is specified at 5× optical zoom. The Samsung lists a 12 MP ultrawide and a 10 MP telephoto with 3× zoom; its main camera is listed at 50 MP, as is the Pixel’s.

Those figures describe hardware, not photo quality. The available evidence does not establish a matched camera test of these exact models, so megapixels and zoom reach alone cannot determine which takes better photos. Consider whether the Pixel’s stated 5× optical reach is more useful to you than the Samsung’s listed 3× telephoto.

Which one should you choose?
- Choose the Galaxy S26 Plus if the larger 6.7-inch display is your main priority or its current same-market price works out lower for the configuration you want. Confirm whether your regional model uses Snapdragon or Exynos.
- Consider the Pixel 11 Pro if you prefer the 6.3-inch form factor or want the listed 5× optical telephoto hardware. Its reported dimensions are smaller, though its listed weight is higher.
- Make the price decision using current offers. Compare the same market and storage, and account for carrier-plan, installment, and trade-in conditions rather than treating a promotional monthly figure as the device’s retail price.
Neither phone is established as the overall winner for camera quality, battery endurance, or performance by matched tests of these specific models. Base the choice on the trade-offs that are documented here, not on a spec-sheet claim standing in for a test.
