The Galaxy S25 is the more compact choice; the REDMI Turbo 5 is the larger-screen option with substantially higher battery capacity and faster wired charging on the specifications reported for it. There is no reliable universal price difference: Xiaomi India listed an 8 GB + 256 GB Turbo 5 for ₹41,999 when accessed in 2026, while the Galaxy S25 prices available here are historical 2025 starting prices in other markets.
Samsung Galaxy S25 vs REDMI Turbo 5: key specifications
Samsung’s US product page is the primary source for the Galaxy S25 specifications below. Xiaomi’s India store confirms a Turbo 5 listing and its 8 GB + 256 GB configuration, but not a detailed specification table in the surfaced listing. The Turbo 5 hardware figures are therefore attributed to 91mobiles, a third-party comparison source, rather than presented as Xiaomi-confirmed specifications.

How the size and display differences affect the choice
Galaxy S25: a smaller, lighter phone
Samsung lists the S25 at 6.2 inches and 162 g. Its smaller display and stated weight make it the clearer option for someone prioritizing a compact handset. The 120 Hz maximum refresh rate and Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel are also specified directly by Samsung.

REDMI Turbo 5: more screen area on paper
91mobiles reports a 6.59-inch AMOLED display for the Turbo 5. That points to a larger-screen format, but the cited sources do not establish its weight or full dimensions, so screen size alone cannot tell you how it feels in the hand or pocket.
Battery and charging: specifications are not runtime tests
The reported Turbo 5 figures—7,540 mAh and 100 W wired charging—are considerably higher than the S25’s Samsung-listed 3,885 mAh rated capacity. That makes the Redmi look stronger on paper for battery capacity and charging wattage. It does not prove that it lasts longer in a matched daily-use test or charges in a particular number of minutes: actual endurance and charging time depend on factors such as software, workload, temperature, and charging conditions. No comparable battery-runtime or charging test is established by the cited sources.

Camera comparison: megapixels do not settle image quality
Samsung lists three rear cameras at 50 MP, 10 MP, and 12 MP, plus a 12 MP front camera. 91mobiles reports two rear cameras at 50 MP and 8 MP and a 20 MP front camera for the Turbo 5. These counts describe listed hardware, not which phone takes better photos or video. The available evidence does not include a matched camera test, so a camera-quality winner cannot be named from megapixels alone.
Price difference: compare the same market and storage tier
The available prices are from different markets and dates, so they should not be subtracted as a direct price difference.

Which phone should you choose?
Choose the Galaxy S25 if compact size matters most
- You want the smaller listed display and the confirmed 162 g weight.
- You prefer to base the decision on specifications published by Samsung for its US product listing.
- You are comparing a local S25 offer against a Turbo 5 offer with equivalent storage, rather than relying on historical launch pricing.
Consider the REDMI Turbo 5 if you want a larger display
- You prefer the larger 6.59-inch screen reported by 91mobiles.
- You value the Turbo 5’s reported 7,540 mAh capacity and 100 W wired charging, while treating them as specifications rather than proof of longer runtime or faster real-world charging.
- You can obtain the right regional variant and confirm its specifications, network-band compatibility, warranty, and local service support with Xiaomi or the seller.
Do not decide on these claims alone
- Camera quality: the available camera counts do not include matched photo or video results.
- Performance: processor names alone do not provide a comparable benchmark; results require matched devices and test conditions.
- Total value: it depends on current local prices, exact configurations, regional support, and stock.
Before buying either model, verify the exact variant’s software-update policy, network bands, warranty, service availability, and in-box contents for your country. Those details are not fully established for both phones by the cited sources.
